So many things to like (You'll want a car!)--We were delighted to find some staples already in the refrigerator for us when we arrived--Very thoughtful and kind! Also having a large fresh water tank was a huge bonus--Not to mention the ability to do laundry! The hosts, Guy and Julita were kind and always available if we had questions. Guy went the extra mile and helped us with ferrying extra luggage from and to the Ferry!! Lovely to be near the Church on a Sunday and listen to the church bells and choir...On Monday, it was nice to see the children at school and playing in the school yard.

Located 5 km from the Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ocean Villa comprises of a variety of self-catering units, each with a tropical garden. Free WiFi is available. Lovely place, very near to some interesting points ( for example Coconut factory and the pont, when our day boat trip for snorkeling started and ended). We spent 3 wonderful days here and Aylin (the lady, who welcomed us) was so helpful and nice all the time. I can only warm recommend Ocean Villa!

Côte d’Or Footprints exceeded our expectation by being very clean, well equipped, beautiful furniture and interior, and have the most gorgeous lush garden. The pictures on booking.com does not do this place justice as we think it was much nicer in reality. We travelled with our 9 month old son, and we had a wonderful crib and eating chair for him at the house. In addition, Annia at the reception was really good at giving us recommendations of excursions to take that is baby friendly. She booked a rental car for us that got delivered and dropped off at the property for us and made sure it had a baby seat, which made life so easy and comfortable for us. In addition, the cleaning staff and garden staff was so nice and friendly to our son, which was a true delight. I could not recommend this place more! We stayed for 15 nights, and we were so comfortable we could have stayed longer! We are definitely coming back. There is a town close by with small supermarkeds, some restaurants, other hotels, and a diving center.
