Ormurinn Cottages is located in Egilsstadir. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. It was a very cute cabin with and amazing view at the lake.We had everything we needed for short stay,we could evening cook some dinner on the kichenette. It was also very reasonably priced compared to other cabins/apartment we stayed at on our Iceland trip

Ha persino preparato il letto per la quinta persona, un gesto non scontato che abbiamo apprezzato molto. La casa è di recente costruzione e si presenta in condizioni impeccabili. L'ambiente era non solo pulitissimo, ma anche MOLTO CALDO, un dettaglio fondamentale dopo una giornata trascorsa al freddo. Il bagno, moderno e funzionale, è dotato di un boiler di ultima generazione che ci ha garantito acqua calda in abbondanza per tutta la durata del soggiorno. Consigliamo vivamente questa struttura a chiunque cerchi un alloggio confortevole, accogliente e gestito con grande professionalità

Fantastic location and view of the entire fjord from the high vantage point. Cozy, comfortable, clean and modern cottage with lots of space. Nicely equipped kitchen. Great hot tub on the deck overlooking the sea. Spectacular drive over the mountain pass and through the fjord to reach the cottage. Helpful and friendly host.

This property was beautiful! Our favorite property on our trip to Iceland! It was spotless, beautiful view, had everything we needed and more, and the hosts were very responsive.

The villa was really nicely designed and had great views. The washing machine and dryer were a bonus after so many days on the road without any!

These holiday homes all offer a private terrace with barbecue facilities, in addition to a well-equipped kitchenette with free coffee and tea. Egilsstadir town centre is a 8-minute drive away. The property was easy to find, and is very well located for day trips around Egilsstaðir. The house was clean, cozy and nicely decorated. There was a washing machine as well, which was very handy. The beds were comfortable. The area was very quiet, a bit outside of Egilsstaðir, but very quick to drive there. From the open area where the cottages are, there is a short path to a jacuzzi (which was spotless) and there is also a sauna. We had a very enjoyable stay.

We stayed for 4 nights, but would love to have stayed longer. It was so peaceful and quiet with a stunning view. The cabin itself was spacious compared to the many other cabins we have stayed in, and it was meticulously clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a grill that was easy to use. The beds were comfortable, and the bedroom had blackout shades, which are important during the summer months. Our host was very communicative and helpful. We'd absolutely stay here again.

Cosy Cottage-Álfabakki-with hot tub è un alloggio che si trova a Stóri-Bakki e mette a disposizione un patio e il WiFi gratuito. Cottage in the middle of nowhere, nice connection to nature all around, peace and quiet (apart from the elements, mainly wind). Extremely good views and good chances to see the northern lights when the sky is clear! Well equipped, quite clean but a bit older in terms of furniture. Very nicely decorated though, cozy and very warm inside. Hot tubs are the icing on the cake! Perfect getaway from touristy locations on iceland.
