The family suite is very generous, effectively two rooms adjoined by a small hallway. Breakfast was nice, and please make sure to their restaurant, it's amazing.

The Sporthotel Oberwald is situated in the picturesque village of Oberwald, at 1,340 metres above sea level. The staff is absolutely fantastic. The lady at the reception could not have been any more helpful and nicer, always sporting a refreshing smile. The boys at the restaurant very nice as well. The garage is perfect for your motorcycle or bike. The room is spacious and very well appointed. The bathroom too, but it is smaller in size and sometimes I tended to bump into things. The breakfast was excellent as well. The fact that is has an elevator going from -1 to 3 is good if you have heavy luggage. The scenery is breathtaking! Perfect spot to stay if doing the 5 swiss passes (but so is Andermatt at the other end of the Furka pass. Would I stay there again, or reccomend it? Absolutely!

I drank my tea in the elegant cup :-) Extra surprises - Swiss Lindt chocolate for my English tea :-) The owners simply "put themselves in your shoes "- they know well what customers appreciate . Highly recommended, we will be back :;-)
