Everything, place is flawless, the decor, the wellness and spa areas, the lake house & swimming/sun deck. The food in the restaurant & breakfast selection top class. Parking very easy, check-in also very easy. Advice: unless you have early checkin, it will be 3pm, so go straight to wellness as you really only have a 3-4 hr window before dinner, especially if you only staying for 1 night. It is not open till 11pm next morning on checkout.

Situated in Kaprun, in the Salzburg Land in the heart of Austria, 1.6 km from Kaprun Castle and 0.9 km from the Maiskogelbahn. It is great and clean. Staff is wonderful. Offering ski-to-door access right next to the Zettersfeld Cable Car, and 2.2 km from the centre of Lienz, Hotel Holunderhof provides free WiFi and a spa area which can be used free of charge. Our family spent a week at Hotel Holunderhof and we had a fabulous time. The hotel is located perfectly for a ski vacation. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished and the daily breakfast was delicious. We hope to stay again soon!
