We were on the Iceland ring road trip. This was the best hotel experience I had on my trip. You could feel the human attitude and care in everything. and everything was just very pleasant. We didn't see much of the surroundings because there was a lot of fog and our stay was relatively short, but we experienced a magical atmosphere. Breakfast made from local products and warm, home-baked bread. This is a family business and you can really feel the family in this place.

Hengifosslodge Tiny Houses si trova a Egilsstadir, a 5,8 km da Cascata Hengifoss e 45 km da Kirkjufoss. Just an absolute 10/10 accomidation. Cozy little cabin in the woods about 20-30 minutes outside Egilsstaðir. The have everything you could possible need for a wonderful stay. We had dimm and rainy weather so we lit up the fireplace for a warm and cozy evening. Falling to sleep in the upper room with rain falling on the roof was delightful. If you are having second thoughts about booking this accomidation - go for it! You will not regret it.

Abbiamo prenotato questa struttura all'ultimo minuto, dopo esserci trovati costretti a lasciare un'altra sistemazione nelle vicinanze. Nonostante il pochissimo preavviso, il proprietario ci ha accolti a braccia aperte, dimostrando grande disponibilità e flessibilità. Ha persino preparato il letto per la quinta persona, un gesto non scontato che abbiamo apprezzato molto. La casa è di recente costruzione e si presenta in condizioni impeccabili. L'ambiente era non solo pulitissimo, ma anche MOLTO CALDO, un dettaglio fondamentale dopo una giornata trascorsa al freddo. Il bagno, moderno e funzionale, è dotato di un boiler di ultima generazione che ci ha garantito acqua calda in abbondanza per tutta la durata del soggiorno. Consigliamo vivamente questa struttura a chiunque cerchi un alloggio confortevole, accogliente e gestito con grande professionalità

Dúlluhús - Apartments by Aldan offre la vista sul mare, il WiFi gratuito e un parcheggio privato gratuito a Seyðisfjörður, a 3,7 km da Gufu Waterfall. I loved everything about this cottage style house. Our apartment was on the ground floor. The living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms were reasonably spacious, nicely decorated, very clean and very cozy. Our friends stayed upstairs in another lovely apartment. Seyðisfjörður, is a lovely small town, in a valley, surrounded by beautiful mountains. The locals are all very friendly and we enjoyed lovely food in the nearby Aldan bar/restaurant. We stayed for the Sluice 2025 art event, but it would also make a great base for driving around and seeing all the other sights. If I am ever travelling in this region again, I would hope to stay in this cottage.
