This was, without question, our favourite stay of the whole trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed into something very special. Marc, his son Harry, and the rest of their family are restoring a magnificent old house set in a beautiful riverside landscape, with ancient trees, a small chapel on the grounds, and views of the river from the bedroom windows. The house itself is somewhere between timeworn and lovingly renewed — full of character, a place that breathes history but feels alive. Their dog Noah, a charming and friendly dalmatian, held court from the living room chair and added even more soul to the place. It was the only spot on our journey where our baby could sleep peacefully in the room while we were able to relax elsewhere in the house. For any parents travelling with a toddler, that’s priceless. But most of all, we’ll remember the people: a wonderful evening spent chatting with Marc and another guest, Brian, who shared captivating stories of his past at sea — a moment of genuine connection, like visiting friends rather than staying in a guesthouse. This is not a polished hotel — it’s a living project, full of soul, and it deserves to be supported. We truly hope more travellers will find their way here and help this beautiful vision thrive.

Residence Inn by Marriott Cork features a fitness centre, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Cork. This 4-star hotel offers luggage storage space and free WiFi. The staff was so friendly. Excellent spread for breakfast every morning, could not believe it was free. Rooms were clean, nice fitness facility. Couldn't have had a better stay.

Set just 27 km from Fota Wildlife Park, Leahys Pod Park offers accommodation in Cork with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as bicycle parking. The place is quiet and marvelous There are a lot of things to see and to do my kid was super happy playing and petting the animals,together we played in the hangout area as well . Staff are very nice and helpful and the pod was cosy clean and cute..The place is 20 mins by car from Midleton town.

Mountain View Cottages V92X961 asub Kerry piirkonnas Tralees. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. Kerry maakonna muuseum on 5,8 km, Püha Maarja katedraal 39 km ja INEC 41 km kaugusel.... The cottages are beautiful, like show homes. Such a comfortable home and plenty of space. The grounds themselves are remote and in need of maintenance, all explained multiple times during booking. You would need a car but they're located just 10-15mins outside Tralee town centre, it was perfect for our trip. Beautiful views of the coastline and backdrop of the mountains, the views here are out of this world. Less than 20mins to drive to Banna bay, such a gorgeous beach. At the property Orla provided tea, coffee, milk, orange juice and bread. The welcome basket with treats was a lovely touch. The welcome email pre arrival was very well explained, how to access the property, check-in and check-out info, WiFi provided and Orla is a very responsive host, should you have questions during your stay. Can't wait to return and highly recommend it.
