Breakfast was readily served at the time we had requested. There was good quality and variety of food served for breakfast. The hotel rooms and facilities were very clean and very well maintained. The rooms were very spacious and we had an extremely comfortable and relaxing stay at Sanage. We also enjoyed both the public and private onsens available at the hotel. I love the peaceful environment in and around the hotel grounds. There were some scenic spots for photo taking within the nearby grounds. There was a restaurant near the hotel that served a wide variety of food, and we enjoyed all of the several meals we had at this restaurant.

At the ryokan, all units are fitted with a desk, a flat-screen TV, a shared bathroom, bed linen and towels. The ryokan offers certain units with river views, and every unit includes a kettle. The units at the ryokan are equipped with a seating area.

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. It was truly authentic Japanese ryokan experience. The room with a river view was great, and the bath was lovely. The staff was super helpful and had prepared English information documents and menus even though they didn’t speak English.

The breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of choices.

Location was very close to Nagoya station, the check in was very easy and they allowed me to check in very late. The man at the front desk speaks perfect English and the the price is very very cheap for how nice the hotel is.
