It's a very cozy and charming ryokan. It was very enjoyable to sit around drinking tea and listening to the jazz music from the bar. The owner is very nice and knows English well. She was very accommodating and gave great suggestions for local food.

The host together with her two dogs welcomed us the best way possible, we are so grateful! The location is incredible with a beautiful view on the city at night but also it is located near Hozan-ji which is a great and peaceful temple both during day and night times, I recommend !!

This was one of the most beautiful places we’ve seen. Amazing traditional ryokan, great bath. Very friendly staff. The food was tasty! The overall experience is very special. The whole territory of the monastery is beautiful - both in the morning and at night. We took a little hike to the top of the hill, it was easy, and there’re sticks available.
