Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe only thing that surprised me a little was the very high deposit. On Booking it said the deposit was $150, but it didn’t specify that this was per night, so it came as a surprise to me. However, the money was refunded 1–2 days after check-out.
Free breakfast, the same every day, but it was fine for me — you can have a tasty meal in the morning. Great rooftop view of the city and the Hollywood sign. The hotel has a cool vintage style. Housekeeping was done every day. Polite staff The location is convenient — close to the metro, which can take you to downtown, the ocean, and other places. The hotel is right next to the Walk of Fame.

United StatesQuite honestly, an insignificant need, a demitasse cup was needed for the Nespresso machine but you could lift up the plate and the regular size cup worked.
Everything! We loved the view from rm 512. Griffith observatory Hollywood sign. Then the rooftop was a full 360 view. Fantastic. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was just hat you need and comfortable.

United StatesI don’t believe this was the fault of the hotels- but more than likely booking.com for double booking the room, so we arrived and checked in only to find another couple inside the room lol. We went back downstairs and they sorted it out promptly by giving us a suite and 75$ off the total. That was very generous imo

IsraelStaff was not too friendly. They charged an insane incidental deposit of 300$. The hotel only allows for Valet parking (which I know is pretty standard for LA), but they did not tell us ahead of time that it costs an extra 50 . We only had to discover that upon checkout. We would have left our cars elsewhere.
