It was a fantastic price for a clean, comfortable one night stay on a road trip.

Thé check in was supposed to be easy. They send you a code to retrieve your room key from a lock box. Our key was not put in the correct box, or they sent us the wrong code. It wasn’t a huge inconvenience but we did have to wait until the on site manager arrived in the office to figure out the problem and to get us our room key. The sink faucet had no gradual on/off. It was difficult to turn the water on without it spraying out everywhere. The 2 bath towels were quite thin and we had no hand towels. We did have a couple of washcloths. Some people may like the fact that the bathroom light automatically turns on when you enter. It can be turned off manually but then kicks back on if you are still in the toilet/bathtub room. However, it is not desirable for someone who doesn’t want the light in their eyes when getting up in the middle of the night.

I liked the designated parking spot right outside my room door. The bed was comfortable. The refrigerator had a small freezer so that I could refreeze my ice packs. There were hooks on the wall by the door to hang items and a nice little table with 2 chairs. You could pick up an ice bucket of ice from the office which was very adequate for our needs. There were chairs outside the room door to enjoy the nice cool evening.

They dont have a sign visible from the road! Plus, road construction made it difficult to get to the motel. The tile on bathroom floor was a tripping hazard because it was about 1/2 inch higher than the carpet. No decaf coffee options. Each room was allotted only one tiny bag of ice.

Loved the quiet, clean rooms and the picnic table. Getting the keys was high-tech, took me a hot minute to figure it out, but I thought it was cool.

Not a fan of no staff. Check yourself in. Would have liked to been able to walk down to the office and get a couple more towels. Unable to do that. Only time anybody's there is cleaning staff early

Couldn't seem to contact anyone for extra bath supplies. Don't think they have any staff at the motel everything was done by phone or a kiosk. Drove right past the motel there isn't any signage out front to let you know that it's the Trail Inn Motel.

Toilet was the smaller type. Sink and Toilet, both worked fine but could be up dated.

Room was comfortable. Slept well. It was clean, no odors and newly painted. Check in was independent and easy. We had not done a check in like that before but it works well.

The check-in could have been explained a bit better at the property. If you didn't get the text from the manager, it was quite confusing. I'm sure that this method of check-in will catch on in the future, though.

Very comfortable bed & nice, quiet, room. Chairs to sit outside & enjoy the evening. Strange, but effective, check-in procedure. No human to give you the key or ask questions of. All done by a kiosk & the internet. We watched a lot of, very confused, people try to navigate the check-in for their rooms that evening.

Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. Never heard noise from other guests, except an occasional car in the parking lot. Location was perfect for our trip

No staff available. On a noisy busy highway, not close to any other businesses - safety concerns. Couldn't get room door locked with the key when leaving - no one to notify. Had to leave door unlocked.

The user experience might be improved with larger, thicker bath towels.

I enjoyed the cedar shake shingles, ambient lighting, and fresh interior decor! It was clean and comfortable with excellent pillows. The keyless check-in was convenient.

Very little icd available. Who puts a motion sensor light in bathroom? Halfway through shower it's pitch dark!
