The room was very humid, even when running the AC continuously. The pool in the basement might be causing more than desired humidity? The carpet seemed almost damp from the humidity. Also, the staff did not seem on top of things. Like for example the excessive time it takes to check-in, or no pool towels available. And took a long time to get the pool towels when requested. Even the restaurant had one nice lady serving tables, but only one, and could not handle all the customers, while the host was sitting folding napkins when there was already a huge stack of napkins.

Could use a little work and updating in the rooms. Chipped furniture, crack in bathroom sink, no extra blankets or pillows available. Maybe should have asked at the front desk. Breakfast good.

Those who complained, please think..it is a hundred years old hotel. And it is still appealing. Everything worked at least in our room, even AC when the temp outside was 100f. Pool and sauna were open. Nice swings area. Hotel is located in quiet street.

It could use a few updates and upgrades. The breakfast was not great and the phone in our room didn’t work. There were a few little things that could have taken our stay from great to excellent.

Beautiful property in a great location! It had great amenities and was the cutest little resort! We felt very comfortable and safe here.

Room was humid and smelled musty. We did not have a balcony - we had a patio. And it had no chair and the door was too narrow to move the hotel chair out onto the patio. The fitness room was closed at 10 but sign said it was open until 11.

The restaurant hours could have been posted in the hotel lobby since they closed so early in the evening. Also, the hotel room provided shampoo and liquid body wash, but no bar of soap for the bathroom sink. I wish there were a chair on the room balcony; there was no where to sit.

Did not expect free breakfast and 24/7 free coffee drinks. That was nice! The location was weird (surrounded by small houses), and the main street to the property was closed. There was a bar and restaurant adjacent to the hotel, but we missed the restaurant’s dinner hours because they closed the kitchen at 8:30 PM on the Thursday evening. I liked the outdoor amenities: Adirondack chairs, swings and deck.

The beds were a little too firm for my liking and the aesthetic of the hotel was very confusing. The 80s carpet majorly clashed with the old world aesthetic everywhere else.

This property has great potential and old world charm. Staff are attentive, friendly and helpful. Great pool great sitting areas outside and around the hotel.
