How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Room located in 1st floor, closed to the lobby. Guests were inconsiderated, made loud noise at 2-3 AM. I could not sleep. There is no bathtub in the room, water ran down the drain, wet floor from shower, causing risks for fall. I was scared to use the bathroom because of the wet floor

The ice machine was ridiculously far away from my room & while on my long hike to the ice machine I saw a huge cockroach. The towels in the bathroom were really small & extremely rough.
The staff was very nice. The bed was comfy. The extra blanket in the closet was very soft. The pool & the fire put area were very nice. The neighborhood was very safe & convenient for food delivery.

The place was good, good neighborhood. They charge extra for parking, didn’t really have that at other places but that’s fine. The breakfast was bad if you could even call it that, the breakfast lady was nice but the food was just not expected, wouldn’t call it a proper breakfast. If you are gonna stay here don’t pay the breakfast, everything else was good.

Checking in very slow, not enough manning the check in, the continental breakfast had 1 person working and a long line and the process was way too slow waited in line for over 15 mins just to order a bagel and muffin. And the lady working the breakfast area was nice but extremely slow. The whole process could be done differently to be more effective. I have stayed here multiple times in the last 2 years and the pricing and fees have drastically gone up. 2 nights cost me over 500 I have stayed here for 3 nights for that price. This was for a 1 bed room. Nothing fancy. Don't think I will be staying here again.

The room is small. Furniture needs to be replaced. The carpet in the hallway is so dirty. The elevator is gross.

The breakfast was not a hotel breakfast and it was not $10 a person as advertised. It was a private service, Starbucks, which did also make eggs and pancakes. 3 adults and 2 children came to $85. That’s not sustainable for a stay of 4 days. Also, there was no where to empty our trash so it piled up in the room.
The pool was fantastic and the patio was nice. The rooms and furniture were immaculate. The front desk staff were nice and helpful, although quick to move you along.

The AC in our room made noise all the time I kicked on I feel like the AC was struggling towork.
I like that they had a fire pit outside. I’ve never seen a hotel with the fire pit outside.

Booking confirmation showed breakfast included, but this was not the case. Breakfast options not to our satisfaction. Staff very business oriented and focusing on do's and don'ts, less attention for the customer. Carpet in corridors needs really some cleaning !

The drainage in the bathroom could use some work, the bathtub stayed full for a while.

It had no sink in the little kitchen. Very inconvenient to run to bathroom sink. Trash cans were so small for a 6 night stay. The lights in the kitchen area go off unless there is movement & that was extremely annoying.

I had to keep asking for new keys, over five times. And then the last set of keys still didn’t work. The employee had to use his master key to let me in. Very annoying.

Lobby was a little cold, I feel like it is very common that hotel lobbies are so exposed that it feels like I'm still outside. Other than that, I think that's just a more of a me issue.
The hotel was in a nice location where you can get to the beach, mall, and disneyland within reasonable time. Additionally service was quick.
