The strong chemicals in the outdoor hot tub. It was like sitting in bleach. Burned our nose and throat. Had to get out after a few minutes.

The room beside us had two large dogs in it. The people left their room and the dogs barked off and on until they returned. Thankfully they returned before we were ready to go to sleep.

We loved this lodge! Our room was on the second floor with a small mountain view. The decor was beautiful, and the bed was so comfortable. We enjoyed the coffee choices for the mini Keurig in the room. The shower was wonderful with plenty of pressure and hot water! We didn't get a chance to use the hot tub or the sauna, but it's on our list for the next visit. The staff was wonderful, so friendly and accommodating! We love Salida and this location was just perfect for us. The continental breakfast was wonderful and had a great selection of items. We will definitely be back to stay at the Silver Ridge Lodge again - we loved it!

From start (with Joe) to finish everything about this stay was beyond wonderful! We have stayed at this property over the years but there are so many outstanding upgrades. Got to meet the person who did a lot of the work - exceptional. The room was homey (meant in a positive way) with nice bedding and furniture and new carpet and very clean. The property had places for our dog to get out and she was welcomed along with us. Very pet friendly for well behaved dogs! Just got coffee on way out but guests were enjoying sitting inside and on patio. Will definitely make this our choice stay. Don't let the unassuming facade fool you - it's a great property! Wonderful staff!

The room was very nice with a good bed. Really clever fridge and microwave area. Nice ladies in the breakfast room, very clean and the pancake maker was a nice feature.

The view surrounding us was breathtaking. Travel in any direction, and it's more beautiful still. The staff were helpful and attentive. Deer stroll about unconcerned. Good food choices and good music all nearby.

Bathroom could use alittle updating. Fan wasn’t working which made it steamy. But that’s searching for what we didn’t like.
