Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesNothing really. Maybe needed a few more outlets considering how many electronics people have these days. The rooms can be stuffy but the owner is in the process of updating everything so it’s only going to get better.
The bed was super comfortable! Close to kings canyon. There could be a lot of negatives here but that would be unfair to the owner since they are in the process of renovating. After speaking with him and knowing what his end goal is this property has all the makings to be amazing! I’m looking forward to seeing it in the future.

United StatesNo breakfast. They are working on the property and we'll soon have a cafe. No other place in badger to eat. We grabbed something once we got in the park.
Beautiful location. Nice room. Self check in so we never saw staff.

GermanyLight a little dark, bed mattresses are very soft, a little noise from the neighbor room, check-in only at site after phone call, gravel down-/uphill access to the facility not applicable for street motorbikes. Location somehow in the nowhere, no street lights, better return before darkness. No facilities around 7 miles.
Nice room incl. fan, fridge, microwave and good shower. Water from the tap is freshwater.

United StatesToo far and the road very windy. The property needs more care. The pool area was messy and the water was green with algae. Weeds too tall.
It was very quiet in the evening, could see the night sky well. The rooms were decent- basic and small. Wish it had some wall decorations in the rooms.

United StatesThere isnt AC in all of the rooms. They dont advertise that they have it, but I didnt even think to check that. Just make sure you are aware, I know they are working to add it.
The location was great, very close to the national park. The Wifi worked well, which was important there. The bathroom was very nice and the bed was comfortable. There is a lot of change happening at this location and it will do nothing but get better I am sure

United StatesSeven Circles is under new ownership and the place had not been particularly well cared for by the previous owners, so the new owners has some work to do to bring it back to top shape. I did have a friendly chat with Nick on our last day — he was super nice and he told me he has plans on how to proceed to really make this place shine. It certainly has tremendous potential, so I am happy to take his word for it and we will be looking forward to go back for another visit in a year or so to see how things have progressed.
The bed was spacious and very comfortable, the sheets were clean and we had three great nights' sleep. The room itself was not very big, but we were mainly looking for a place to sleep as we spent most of our time out in Kings Canyon NP, so we didn't mind it. We were travelling from the Bay Area with an EV and I was a bit concerned with the lack of chargers in the vicinity, so I reached out to the owner/manager and they kindly provided us an extension cord to plug our car charger into. Just an L1, so it's very slow, but it was enough overnight during our stay to let us drive into and around the park and come back at night on Friday and Saturday. It sure would be wonderful if the owner invested in getting an L2 charger installed.

United StatesStaff wasn't reachable in such a remote place. No real food options, bring your own. The round room in the pictures was not what we got, it was a normal motel maybe they need to list different options. Grounds need a lot of care
Location was decent even though the road was windy.. Place was surprisingly clean given the location in the woods.Kids loved the playground and balls. Enough space for all of the things we brought.

United StatesThe space heater provided didn’t really work to warm the room and we were freezing the first night. Different noises outside made it difficult to sleep throughout the night as well. The property is also extremely remote but was the closest available to King’s Canyon this winter. We also had no where to eat on Valentine’s Day which was a bummer- the only 2 restaurants around were closed.
Everything was clean, the bed was comfy, and the linen was cozy. We really like the owner- he’s very kind and was attentive to our needs.

United StatesNot really a dislike but more like tips to visitors: Avoid traveling to/from at night - can be dangerous because very dark with all the windy turns. A bit distant from food/restaurants but they definitely tell you to anticipate this.
Close to Kings Canyon and affordable compared to the on-ground National Forest options. New management trying hard after taking over, tells you at least how to check in by calling their number once you arrive. Room was cozy and area was quiet.

United StatesFor our purpose’s, everything was fine! It will be even better when their cafe opens and they repair the pool. But, this is a work in progress and these fine people deserve your support!
Our room was so cozy and comfortable! The bed was amazing! The best sleep I’ve had in years! Nick and family are so hospitable and very knowledgeable about the area having grown up here. They are putting their heart and soul into restoring this property and it shows! Will definitely stay here again when visiting Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park.
