How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Although clean, the beds were not very comfortable and the furniture and lamp were coming apart.
The staff was amazing. Room was clean. The beds were very clean. The location and views were great.

They really didn’t have a good breakfast selection. A lot of places have biscuits they have eggs or they have sausage patties. With gravy.

The indoor pool was so cold the kids could barely swim. They did turn on the heat but he said it takes a while to heat up. So we really couldn’t swim till last day we were there. Kids a little disappointed.

The fact it is a no smoking facility but the 3rd floor hallway smelled like skunk and no ice in facility.

All ice machines out of order and the hot tub sounded like a jackhammer. Staff tried to switch rooms but no other hot tub rooms available. Trip and hot tub booked solely for relaxation so it was disappointing.

Shower was peeling, sink drain area had dirt, tv only got two channels,not enough plugs for electronics.

The pool wasn't very clean and was on the colder side considering it was supposed to be heated. The breakfast was less than expected, just prepackaged food, and the rooms weren't super clean.
The hotel was close to downtown Boone. We enjoyed the indoor pool, and this hotel was slightly cheaper than other nearby properties. Our room was just like any average hotel room with two queen beds. Our beds were comfy enough and the hotel was very quiet.

Breakfast was very poor! Unhealthy, all carbs! Hardly any proteins! Small amount of choices. Room was very clean, and presentation was clean!
Comfortable. Front desk was great! The manager with scarf was superb and stylish! Room was good and beds comfortable!

Staff was not very accommodating. I booked 2 rooms and ask if we could have them close together. I was told at booking that if I checked in early they could arrange that. I went to the hotel as soon as I got to town to check in and I knew it was to early to get in the room I just wanted to make sure I got the rooms close. It was around 1:30 pm. I was told I could not check in at that time to early. I came back at 5 and ask if we could get our rooms close they said they would. He said the rooms were 2 doors apart. The rooms were not at all close 321 and 330. Very disappointed.

There was no ice available in the building for the entire 24 hours that we were there. Staff acted like we were asking for something that doesn't come "standard" at every hotel.
Other than the absence of ice, the hotel was a typical big chain experience.

I like the overall cleanliness most important. The price was very fare . Staff ( Mark) Was very processional , accommodating.
The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. The tub drain gaskets missing causing lost off water. Ceiling above bed damaged. AC not functioning correctly. Microwave dial missing. Frig temp control missing . Food has froze

The pool was not heated. The water was very cold and that is why we picked the place so the girls could swim on their down time. The ice machine was broken and we had to go to the first floor. The flower bed needed some attention and they were full of weeds .t
The room was clean and nice. The breakfast was good and the girls enjoyed the waffles. They let the girls feed the fish and they loved doing that.
