While checking in at the front desk, we walked in the door and there was already two people ahead of us and you could tell that they were frustrated and that the sweet girl working the desk was trying so hard to accommodate everyone meanwhile the manager who is in the building is not trying to help her at all she's had to go try to find him on several occasions and I could tell that was strugglingand it is so not her fault but everybody is taking it out on her and that was so hard to watch so I said something to the people and said you know it's not her fault but the manager isn't doing his job which is to manage the hotel. Every staff member besides him, I wish I would have got his name, were wonderful people. Hey he might not even be the manager and he might own the place for all I know but if he does own the place then you need to get your managerial skills in check and be nicer to your employees. He acted like helping her was inconveniencing him and wouldn't even look at the customers who have been waiting patiently. All together check in time for us took almost 1 hour and I'm sorry but I think that's ridiculous and it is not the staff member who was working the front desk's fault at all because she was trying to fix the problem but she needed the help of the manager who was not doing his job of managing the hotel and the hotel staff. I understand why the poor girl looked afraid to bother him because I would have acted that way too if he was treating me like he was treating her I would feel offended like I'd be scared to ask for help if he'd belittled me like that in front of multiple people. I don't ever do this on reviews I always leave positive reviews as you can tell the rest of my reviews speaks volumes about the positivity of our experience. With the exception of one person who does not need to be working in a hospitality / customer service position anywhere with his attitude.

Our stay was good. I have zero complaints about the cleanliness, the free continental breakfast was wonderful, it was very quiet, and they were very accommodating when it came to being able to do an early check-in or a late check out due to our traveling schedule. Everybody in the staff was so nice and they were trying to do everything they could to get us accommodated at the desk when we were checking in, with the exception of the manager. I do not know his name but he was there around 3:00 on Saturday September 7th when this occurred and I will explain below.

Shower was not good. Water was hot for 2 minutes then ice cold for 2 minutes for the entire 15 minute shower. Breakfast was not good. Limited items available and eggs/sausage tasteless.

Wasn’t adequately prepared for our stay No ice bucket. Ice machine only on first floor for entire hotel. We discovered a few blood droplets on the sheets after we woke up and realized it wasn’t ours.

Breakfast was not what we expected. The bananas were overly ripe, and the pancake maker did not work. The muffins were good, as were the eggs and sausage. However we had to stop to feed the kids.

The pancake maker was not functioning right so we had to go pay for breakfast. And I did report to the front desk that the water in the bathtub would not shut off. Hence the condensation and moisture made the bathroom floor slick.

The location was great, we felt safe which is always a concern when I travel with my grandkids.

I am assuming you have to request housekeeping if you stay multiple days as our towels were not changed out or bed linens changed the 4 days we were there. Not an issue, however, guests should be told that during check in. My room TV didn't work but I didn't need it so did not complain.

The front desk staff were all very nice. This hotel is right off the main road and right between St Loous and Purina Farms. They had a decent breakfast with hot eggs, sausage, pancake maker, toast, fruit, and cereal.

The conditioner pump didn’t work great and the bathroom light was on a timer

The room was clean, the beds super comfortable and the blankets warm. The AC worked great and the curtains kept the sun out perfectly. It was quiet, I didn’t get woken up by loud guests.
