How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The bunk bed mattress was more comfortable than the queen bed but could be a personal preference. If you are staying for more than a few days, I would suggest taking a couple extra pans because skillets are small.

When we arrived the room was not clean, but the owners were very responsive and helped us to remedy the situation quickly.
The area is so lovely and there is a lot to do. It was quiet and peaceful and the room had just what we needed.

Wish we had known about the strong sulphur water smell, not bothersome for shower but not pleasant to drink. Thankfully corner store down the street had bottled water. Air conditioner units could use filters or a cleaning (strong smell there too) but I am also really sensitive to smells.
Great location near Indian Point Marina (where we rented a boat for the day) and Silver Dollar City. Everything was clean and well-taken care of. Loved having bunk beds for the kids. The small kitchen area was nicely equipped, and the decent-sized living room to relax in was a plus. Kids enjoyed the pool and said it was really clean. Property was much smaller than anticipated but can tell owners are working to make it an enjoyable place with the space they have. Liked the picnic benches and mini grills out front and pleasant landscaping.

The pool no warning n the depth change. Very unsafe. Better suited for older children or teens. Alot of check out requirements for clean up when you pay a cleaning fee.

Parking was not great and limited. Mattresses were not comfortable and woke up sore both mornings.
Each door has a keypad for the lock. It was very convenient not to have to carry a key for the room around. The owners are super friendly and very accommodating. Very cute little units great for a small family on a short visit.

WiFi was terrible! Pillows were awful and the air conditioning was not good in the living area. The sulphuric smell was terrible. Parking was not great. Someone was always in our # spot. If someone had more than 1 car they took it upon themselves to just take up all the parking, no matter if it was their spot or not. Will not be going back to Osage Resort.
Being close to the lake was nice. The area was nice to walk around.

Me and my three boys came Tuesday at Osage for our first family vacation. When we got there it felt like home. It was cozy with throw blankets in the living room, plenty of pillows and all the luxuries of home. It was nice and cool in the room and we were all able to sleep as well as if we had been home. The owner was so nice and accommodating about our dog and there was plenty of room for him to be able to get around when he would go outside. The area has a nice place to walk up and down the roads for exercise and just getting out and about with the a restaurant within walking distance that had one of the best burgers and fresh cut fries I've ever eaten and the swimming pool was great. It was clean and there were plenty of pool toys and lounge chairs to enjoy throughout the day and in the evening. There was a place to do laundry so I didn't even have to go home with anything dirty. The kitchen had everything that we needed from pots and pans to utensils and space to make a meal. The location was great for all the different places that we wanted to go to it was a central point for the different directions we had to go in Branson and the surrounding areas. We will definitely be coming back to stay at Osage again. Thank you Osage for making our first vacation fun, comfortable and memorable!

No coffee. No oven. No central ac. No parking. Moldy shower. Smelly sewer. Dirty floors. Uncomfortable beds. Too small. Heavy back door. Overgrown weeds. Noisy neighbors. Awkward outlet locations. Didnt find the instruction book until we were leaving, so no wifi or tv.

My only dislike , which was not significant at all is sulfur water.

Accidentally locked the bedroom and bathroom doors and had to use a butter knife to get them opened. The water coming out of the kitchen sink looked like it had soap in it, very milky looking. Hot tub was not working at all.
No breakfast was served. The location was great for us once we got our GPS working!
