Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe street facing rooms are a big noisy from traffic and the aircon was quite loud.
The staff at this hotel are amazing. The rooms are clean, large and well-equipped. I managed to book one night last minute and I would've loved to stay longer but they were fully booked some of the days I needed. Would definitely book next time I'm in Seattle.

IsraelThe location was central, but.. it was uncomfortable going out at night because of the "characters" on the street. It seems that that area of Seattle is not safe.

AustraliaThere was no laundry liquid, no instructions on how to use the washer drier & no conditioner in the shower. The housekeeping staff were lovely though & restocked the bathroom.
The room was fully self contained & had what I needed for a 12 day stay. It was so close to Pike St Markets & just a short walk from attractions, shops & great restaurants.

United KingdomIt was a challenge requesting a late checkout as their system doesn’t let you request one until 8am the morning of. The staff will also tell you about ghosts in the hotel (albeit with conflicting stories), so if you don’t like the idea of ghosts and ghouls, I’d advise against speaking too much with staff about the building’s history!
The rooms themselves are very modern and clean, with great facilities available within. The location of the property is very convenient to downtown too with the market a 2 min walk away.

United StatesEvery clock in the room was set to a different time and none of them were correct. Thus, if not wearing a watch or have your phone handy, you didn't know what time it was, which was a detriment as I needed to keep appointments. Also, the floor needs a deep cleaning. While it looked fine, just half an hour wearing only socks, the bottom of my feet were almost black with dirt. The AC unit, taking up a side of the bed could be annoying, but was a necessary evil for mid-June. If I had been travelling with a companion, it would have been more of a hassle.
The location was nice. There was an H Mart not 100 feet from the entrance and a Target a couple of blocks away, plus Pike Place Market. The room was well laid out for the small space and the area felt safe. I paid for the early (4 hours early) check in. As it turned out, there was a software issue with the room door lock, so none of the several codes given to me worked for the room, the elevator or the outside door. I had to spend 2 hours trying to initially get into my room and 2 hours the next morning waiting for the lock to be fixed. The hotel refunded my early check-in payment in full for the inconvenience.

New ZealandThe couch was a little small so you couldn’t lie down. The room was very noisy from outside street sounds and the blinds didn’t really block out the lights outside. I would have loved a tv in the bedroom so I could have lay down. The unit was pretty clean except some of the skirting boards needed wiping down and the window sills too. Outside windows needed a clean so you could see outside. Also there was no warning but you can’t use a microwave and the washing machine at the same time. Caused a fuse to blow. It was fixed very quickly though. Also for a 3 nights stay the unit wasn’t cleaned or towels/ coffee replaced or bins emptied.
Super central location to everything we wanted to see. The room had everything in it we needed .

AustraliaWyndham really let this location down... the entry and reception screams "backpacker" and there is a lack of signage on approach. The apartment was so much better than this.
The apartment was great - lots of windows that opened and lots of light; good space and facilities. Laundry is a big plus! Location brilliant being part of "downtown", close to the Pike Place Markets, restaurants, the train and monorail and the harbourfront.

United KingdomThe main problem was that the elevator was not working throughout our stay. Without elevator access we had to use the street to get between our apartment and reception. The staff did their best by providing a doorman at the door of the apartment building entrance, who was most obliging in carrying luggage up and down the stairs. The other thing we did not like, although ALL the hotels we stayed in on this trip were the same (and we stayed in many) was the lack of electric kettle. We had to use the hob to boil water for tea, although there is always an electric coffee maker in every hotel room.
The location was ideal for us, being very close to Pike Street Market, and walking distance to The Space Needle complex and the station to take us back to the airport very efficiently and cheaply (compared to the taxi we got from the airport). The apartment had all that we needed for a comfortable stay, particularly the kitchen area which looked brand new. We easily found our wat to all the places we wished to visit, and used the hop-on, hop-off bus, which stopped very close to the hotel, to get a feel for the whole city.

United StatesThe Saturday checkin was a zoo. For some unknown reason the housekeeping staff was not letting the management know when the units were cleaned and ready. The lobby was overflowing with luggage as we were told we couldn't check in until 4pm- however it was 5pm before we got in. The lobby is so small we had to leave the premises and check back every 15 minutes or so. Let me be clear - through all this the staff was great!
Great location and units were well equipped although we didn't make any meals - local restaurants are too good. The staff at this location was great. Our primary contact at checkin was Allison and she jumped through hoops to move us to the room we initially ordered via booking.com during an incredibly busy time.
