Pet fee was a little to much, no place walk them other than across the street. Gate to beach is not secure and watched people come off the beach and swim in the pool. They were not guests.

Rooms were comfortable, location was great. Close to everything. Will definitely need back. Room prices not bad at all.

We were unable to use the pool and hot tub for our entire week stay due to extremely low/ no chlorine in the pool and hot tub. I tested it daily in the morning and at night and after telling the front desk twice I gave up. The pool and hot tub are also in dire need of resurfacing. Both very unsafe to use. Great if you’re looking to get a bacterial skin infection or staph infection! The soda machine apparently only take quarters ($2 worth) even though the cash machine took my $2 and ate it without giving it back. Something I feel that could be resolved with a simple sign. Once the front desk refunded my $2, in quarters, the machine then spit out an un labeled water bottle after I pressed Mt Dew. So write that off. The toilets are a pain to flush. They eventually work but we never figured out an easy way in a weeks stay.

parking lot is too small. had to park across the street 2x. the receptacles in the bathroom didn't work in room 215. the blower dryer was found in the dresser drawer instead of being hung in the bathroom. there's 2 sets of steps to get down to the beach area which made getting the beach wagon, full of stuff, a bit problematic. I think an additional ADA ramp would be best. The pool had a strobe light effect at the night time hours - not sure what that was about, but it hurt my eyes to look at it.

Lenworth at the front desk was pleasant. Our room was ready upon check-in at 3:20pm. The room had 2 queen beds that were semi-comfy (a bit firmer than what we like), a refrigerator/freezer, microwave & coffee machine, a dresser and a bench to put our things on, a nice closet to hang clothes and a very updated modern bathroom. A/c was able to be set to our temperature liking & the shower was always hot. Pool/ spa area seemed nice but we never used them.

My main objective to this trip was to be close to the ocean and Ormond Beach is my favorite beach. I highly suggest it to anyone that wants a quiet and clean beach. The suite was clean, comfortable and I enjoyed the shower (Rain Shower Head).

Rooms were mopped/cleaned with a soured/dirty mop head or rag. Shower does not drain. Fridge doesn’t get cold. Pool area was pitch black on night one. Sand in fire pit was full of cigarette butts and trash. All pool chairs had bird poop the entire stay. Only provide the bare minimum of towels (2 towels) with no wash clothes or hand towels unless requested. Just needs a good scrub down with basic maintenance and this would be a top notch hotel that is affordable.

It was a little further from Daytona than I liked.

Staff was nice and very hospitable. They were extremely helpful in letting us know where best to go anytime we were looking for places to go for dinner

The room was clean but the bleach smell was overwhelming. The water pressure in the shower was very low. The toilet had issues with the chain staying connected to be able to flush . Parking was challenging.

The staff was professional and freindly.Check in was easy. The location is awesome. The gentleman at the counter said my deposit was returned to my card but I haven't seen an email from booking.com yet.

The pool closes at dusk. Having the ability to go swimming at night would have been nice.

Door did not close easily and I could see daylight around the doorframe. Breakfast was pretty limited.

Pool, hot tub, pet friendly, beach, cool fire pit area. Room had a bit of a modern feel to it. Also noticed direct pool access from rooms on the 1st floor. Love that idea.

Four lunge chairs on the pool deck need to be removed or repaired. I would also like to see at least one more umbrella table on the deck.

The room is clean and comfortable, on a nice beach.

The hight of the bed made it difficult to get into for me because I'm short. The mattress was so uncomfortable. Our new daughter in law went out and bought me a mattress topper because the bed was way too hard.

I loved the ground floor room. My husband and I walk with crutches so being close to the pool site worked better for me.
