Found a used bar of soap and a used dirty wash cloth still in the shower when we checked in. It was super late, so we didn't complain. We just went to sleep as we were trying to drive back to Virginia. The hotel was also under construction with construction materials everywhere and 2nd floor closed off

Facility was good for 1 overnight stay. My son was having open heart surgery in Plano TX. We stayed at LaQinta by wyndom in Plano and it was much nicer. I know there was construction on 2nd floor of Baymont so maybe eventually the entire facility will be upgraded. Rates were reasonable.

I didn’t like that the pool was not in use. I did not like the full size beds instead of queen. And I didn’t not like that they did renovations but didn’t bother to replace the bathtub and toilet which were in bad condition.

I liked that it was clean and there was more than just cereal and toast for breakfast.The beds were comfortable but small.

I didn’t like the overall cleanliness. It may have been due to construction going on at the property. I was there 3 days and housekeeping knocked at my door not once. Service at front desk was nice and helpful.

This hotel is undergoing some renovations, which is a good thing. I'm happy to see that they're trying to make improvements. Our room on the first floor had a weird smell possibly from the carpet because the towels and sheets smelled fine. They have introduced some hot items to their breakfast buffet, eggs and biscuits and gravy. I can only speak about the eggs. They tasted like they were from a powder mix, which is fine, I'm not that picky. However, some shredded cheese and salsa would have been greatly appreciated to mask the flavor. The other items on the buffet were fine. My daughter enjoyed her waffle on the brand new waffle iron. There was also an employee mopping during breakfast. I appreciate that cleanliness is a priority, as it should be, just not during serving hours. That should be done before and after.

I just needed an inexpensive place to stay for one night. My expectations were met! It was a great location in terms of proximity to the highway. And there's a Walmart 3 minutes away. I ended up making an emergency run to the store late at night. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. The shower water pressure was great! The employees were very friendly.

I don’t like the fact that the pool was out of order when that should’ve been posted on the website before I got there . My kids wanted to get in the pool and was very disappointed when we got there and couldn’t utilize the pool.
