Our room had a horrible smell from the ac unit. It kind of smelled like mildew. Was disappointed in the breakfast. There was only sausage, waffles, biscuits, pastries. No eggs or bacon. I could see no bacon but no eggs was a little weird. We ended up going to get breakfast elsewhere although that’s mainly why I booked this room. There was also hair in our shower from two different people, I’m guessing it wasn’t rinsed out. The towels are also super thin.

The best thing was by far the staff! Had 3 interactions with 3 different front desk associates and they were all exceptionally nice. I’m not sure of 2 of their names but I do remember Corey. Super friendly!

Room was had old silly string on the ceiling and walls. Reception at front desk charged us twice so the entire stay we were out of that additional money until we checked out. Still waiting for the funds to be released

The room had a weird smell to it because of the ac I believe. The set up of the bathroom door and the front door in the room was annoying.

There are soft spaces on the hallway floor outside rooms 227-231 and the pool was cloudy gross. The mattress had some sort of sticky syrupy type goo that leaked the the sheets- it was a clean bed at night, but in the morning, you could see multiple stains and my leg was stick :(

Pool was indoors so it was a little cold water. Hand held bar to walk into the pool need to be replaced. It was super wobbly so might be a hazard.

Patio furniture had rips and tears, and you could see where there was previous water damage possibly due to some flooding a room but everything was clean

It was close to everything we wanted to do or see, it was clean, the pool was nice, everything was relaxing and quiet. I loved that the rooms had decent views and the beds were soft.

When we first got to our room it had a funny smell, but not horrible. It might have been the cleaning products, so no big deal. The air conditioning was super cold when we first walked in the room, so we turned the temp up a bit. Later we noticed the a/c wasn't coming on. We set the fan to be on constant and that kept some movement in the air. At night it was starting to feel warm in the room, but at 12:30 AM the a/c came on and cooled great!

The location was convenient. We were heading out on a cruise out of Galveston.

There wasn't a TV guide, which we felt was inconvenient. The breakfast wasn't all that great, but they had premade options that tasted better than their hot "fresh" food.

The lady who checked us out just stared at us with a very stern face, almost scary, my husband dropped the card in the basket, all she said was, "what room".....the free breakfast....only thing good was the fruit, the eggs and sausage just gross, next time I will just eat a bagel and hope it's not stale....the hallways to the rooms are hot and humid, the room was nice and cool

The mattress and pillows were soft and bedding very comfy. The room was clean. The room was cool and comfortable. Wish there was at least a coffee pot in the room.

I have stayed here numerous tines. Staff are not friendly, breakfast was not as tasty nor had as many options. Our alarm was going off, but no one was concered or checked it out. Forunatly there was not a real problem. This was somewhat a lit down from previous experences there. Custoner Service is important to me which the staff and the manager lack this skill.

Yes, they have an indoor pool, but it's not heated, and it's freezing. One reason I chose this hotel was because of the indoor pool because of my meds. I can't be in sunlight without being fully covered and was excited to be able to swim. We'll not so much with a freezing pool. The other issue is we stayed on the 2nd floor, and they need to fix the floor in the halls they had holes all in them, and then the washers were broke the whole time.

The price was awesome. Couldn't ask for a more friendly staff. Easily accessible.
