Floor in the bathroom was slick. It has the potential to cause a person to slip and fall. The TV remote was awkward making it difficult to select the desired channels. This is a possible user difficulty. I'm 67 years old and not the best with technology but I had trouble with the TV.

The elevators were down. The pool was ICE COLD. We couldn't swim. The breakfast was cold and subpar. They didn't have pop in stock to buy and no vending machines.

We liked the front desk girls were incredibly nice and accommodating....the room was comfy...the flat screen was HUGE...check out time was noon which makes it nice.

The renovations that were going on last year have really improved this hotel. The rooms were much improved and very nice. The bathrooms were exceptional.

They originally put me on the side facing the railroad tracks and those trains blared their horns all night long. The second night they moved me to the other side and it was much more quiet making it easier to rest.

The staff was super nice and helpful! The hotel was easy to get to and close to several restaurants. Breakfast was good and parking was close and well lit. I felt safer there than some other hotels.

I thought the room was way overpriced at $225 per night. The price may have been influenced by a festival in town during my stay.

Front area wasn’t inviting. No front desk only folding tables. ( remodeling I guess). no place to sit. Car was rifled through in the parking lot. Electric outlet in bathroom didn’t work. No hairdryer in room. I spent an hour trying to get one.

The curtains were falling off the rod and had pin holes in the material. Someone had used a safety pin to keep curtains close.

They are renovating and the place was under construction. Also the TV channel selection was difficult to figure out. We never did figure it out.

The staff was amazing! And very friendly. A great Mexican place right down the street, and they gave a 10% discout to hotel guest. All it all nice place.

The weather played a big factor as the wind was horrible and customers coming in made it possible for doors to slam late into the night and loss of sleep. Otherwise it will be an exceptionable hotel to stay when we are in town of La Junta again. We have stayed at Holiday Inn Express before and enjoyed our stay a couple of years ago for a few days.

I liked the fact that even though the hotel was going through major renovations, the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and welcome.

The hall carpeting at the threshold of my room was in need of repair. It was temporarily held down with blue painter’s tape that was failing, and prevented the door from closing easily.
