Hostel is kinda small and can feel cramped when there are a lot of people, especially the kitchen.

Location, friendly staff, cleanliness, organized activities, laundry machines on site. Several free parking lots nearby make it easy to park.

after the first night the room (8 bed) had a bit of a smell to it, but it wasn’t too bothersome

fantastic location, gorgeous lounge and overall very comfortable place to stay. they’ve done wonders with the admittedly limited space, and even though the place was fully booked i never felt cramped or uncomfy. top notch hostel.

I would stay in an all female or male dorm unless you are open to people getting it on in the room with you😂 but that’s to be expected.

The tall english guy that managed it was super sweet and helpful and so were the other volunteers that I met. I bunked in a female dorm with a few others that were traveling from Ireland. I was scared to stay in a hostel but I did my research and I was not disappointed. I’m a little socially awkward and I always travel alone so it was a neat way of kind of traveling with others. Everybody ate breakfast together in the mornings and went out to see the city together. It was a cute little spot right on the beach right in the middle of everything and it was very clean. I definitely recommend! I will be staying here again!

What a great location bus stops are nearby equal pleasures whether you go left or right at the boardwalk. And use of public transportation away from the beach will satisfy you!!

Slightly difficult to see entrance, we were a little nervous with hostile being above a liquor store.

Close to the beach a perfect one night stop over on our journey home after a busy late Legoland vacation with grandkids. Lovely hostile staff taco dinner and extremely comfortable room in a cozy hostile environment.

...that I was ONLY able to STAY for the ONE Night, and that EVERYONE was "Extremely Friendly"...with some Very Pretty and BeautifuL Women from ALL over the WORLD... Brazil, France, Spain, Germany... (yup) 🥰 ...I didn't LIKE that I had to LEAVE the Next Day 🤷🏼‍♂️

*** I am an ACTIVE (...but Older @ 63 ) Experienced "SoLo Traveller"...who has some "Mobility Issue's" ... but, this Mgmt & Hospitality team (Reuben & Akos) were Extremely gracious, and SUPER ACCOMMODATING towards Me ...as they went "ABOVE & BEYOND" My Expectations, when I was "Checking-In" ...and Treated this "Old DawG" to the "BEST AVAILABLE PRIVATE ROOM" ...which was Outstanding and Amazingly SUPER CLEAN, SUPER COMFORTABLE, Quite, and More than I could EVER had Expected @ this terrific Location (@ San Diego Mission Beach) ...across from the RollerCoaster, and 1/2 block to the BEACH ❤️⛱️ *** I Will DEFINITELY come back HERE, on My Next Vacation back to San Diego this Fall... and I "Highly Recommend" that ANYONE Looking to Possibly BOOK a Stay at the Place... Everything about this hostel was amazing. Reuben, the manager, went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable, such a great vibe! The whole place is spotless, seriously one of the cleanest hostels I’ve ever seen. The location is perfect and there are always fun activities going on, which makes it super easy to meet people. I’ll 100% stay here again next time I’m in San Diego!

That I couldn't stay longer.

The staff was incredible very upbeat and happy. I was traveling with my two children and they were so kind and friendly to my children as well. We've been here before and my kids requested to come back. They made my stay Go from good to incredible. I've never felt so welcomed and look after in such a busy area where they don't tend to care about the customer. They had accommodations to go to the beach so I didn't have to rent the things they had a great area to sit and lounge and most of all the people that I met there their staff was incredible. Honestly I can't say enough good things about this place highly recommend 11 out of 10 I would rate it that easily and will be coming back here next year with my kids again. Also the fact that it's right on the beach for the price point you can't beat it and there's tons of restaurants all within a 30 second walking distance. Ruben the supervisor was incredible he was constantly checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed and we're comfortable. He was also super friendly with my children and was beyond what I expected from a supervisor at hotel. I didn't feel like another customer I felt like family. Thank you again to everybody at ITH for making our vacation an incredible one We will love to see you again next year and can't wait to be coming back.

It was my first time staying in a hostel, and I don’t regret it. The people working at this hostel were kind, friendly, and helpful. The common areas were cleaned daily and everything was very clean. I also joined the Sunset Yoga program. Thank you, Amanda, for this amazing experience. The location was also great — there’s a bus stop for bus number 8 right across from the hostel. I used this bus to get wherever I needed to go. The beach was just a few steps away on foot. If I ever get the chance to come back, I already know where I’ll be staying.

All was good

The location is perfect! 1 minute far away from the beach. The breakfast was nice and the environment was really warm. They have different activities every night if you want to join. I stayed in the private room and it was small but perfect.
