The mall across the road is mostly abandoned except for the gym and it gives the area a creepy feel. There is a newer, livelier, outdoor shopping area further down the road.

Did not have breakfast, although fresh coffee/tea is always a bonus. Clean room, mini-kitchen and view of the parking lot. Many other Berkeley graduation guests stayed as well during that busy time.

For all that money they didn’t have a proper breakfast and it was non smoking but people were hotboxing the rooms the smell kept seeping into my hotel room

I had advised the staff I was working at night and sleeping during the day. While sleeping I was awakened by staff pounding on my door. They claimed I had a balance to settle but it was not my room so I was woken up in error. It was difficult to fall back asleep since I had been required to report to the front desk to confirm I did not have an outstanding balance. I was frustrated.

The location is excellent and my room was quiet.

Seal around bottom right door of the refrigerator was damaged causing refrigerator to turn on and off very often costing the Hotel $ to operate beyond what would be reasonable. Bathroom floor was very dirty, by virtue of the black toilet paper and shower mat when rubbed across the floor to mop up spilled/splashed water from shower and wash basin. Cabinet doors below the kitchen sink were damaged and separating. Edges of wood surfaces on cabinets and and table were damaged Inside wall of bathroom at doorway above mop board is damaged eventually will absorb moisture/water. Maintenance is less than adequate.

The hallway smells like smoke cigarettes and weed and I thought that was a non-smoking facility. Hopefully they can do better. I didn’t see any security around there. I think that’s needed as well.

There was no shampoo, hair conditioner and body wash in the bathroom. Who would bother to ask front desk for them after settled in the room? Only offer one plastic cup in the room! Found a live silverfish on the bathroom floor.

Refrigerator in the room. Still wish you had a ice machine for the guests. We had the room at the end of the hall on the top floor-Quiet. Security walking around the parking lot. Breakfast-muffins!

Bed too low & too soft, pillows too soft, chair impossible to get out of, noisy toilet, if I wanted heat I had to listen to the loud, annoying fan because it wouldn’t turn off, when fan first turned on I got cold air blowing out at least 2-3 minutes until it got warm, generally a very uncomfortable room

I am a dog lover, and I think when you stay in a hotel little dogs are fine but not too big pitbull‘s. I felt a little unsafe, but I watched for my safety.

I don’t like that there are no king bedrooms with accessible bathrooms

I like the fact that the property was close to the people we were visiting and allowed us to stay with our pets We originally had a accessible room with a queen bed but there was a leak and so we moved to a king bedroom but there are no king bedrooms that have accessible showers
