There was nothing I didn’t like.

The opportunity to set your mind back in time, to the way hotels used to be, was a breath of fresh air. Being able to eat dinner on the front porch and enjoy the rain was absolutely calming to my soul. The Hollander Hotel is unique in every way and is a combination of history with a little bit of modern style. Embrace the difference HH has to offer!

Everything, it was incredibly well decorated with lots of the old hotel charm left with full modernisation. Pool are was great. Bar/food was spot on too. We had a great time and will return.

the bed wasn't the most comfortable, but it was fine for the one night stay.

very nice old fashion hotel in downtown. Staff was super! good food at the restaurant. Trolley was just around the corner. The free parking was a major plus. Terrace outside was nice even during the hot month of August.

he hotel was great! My ONLY complaint is the smokers. As someone with asthma, I stay in non-smoking hotels. At this hotel, the smokers hung out by the entrance which resulted in being exposed to secondhand smoke when entering or leaving the hotel. A better designated smoking area would be greatly appreciated.

The hotel was great, and The Pub and coffee shop food was excellent. I would definitely go back if the fix the issue indicated below. It was a great experience and an excellent value.

Unfortunately, we booked the hotel for the pool and we didn’t have a great experience. Because they allow day passes and other non guests at the pool you cannot take absolutely anything into the area. So no snacks, no water bottles no personal cups. It’s very different than any pool or lounge area I’ve ever been to and we definitely packed for a day AT the pool. To be honest this kind of ruined the whole day. There were SO MANY people there, probably over 100, and at least 25 in the very small pool. There were very few chairs open and we had to ask if some chairs were being used in order to find a seat. After that we got a drink menu and the server never came back. We sat there for an hour and ultimately decided we’d have more fun with our own drinks and snacks in the room.

Loved the vibe, location and amount of area for photos for this birthday trip. Having a shuttle to downtown was amazing, the driver was so nice and it ran until 10:45 so it was perfect to get around for dinner and out for drinks. While I think the main lounge is pretty, my experience with the pool definitely outweighed my desire to stay here again.

Touch of damp air when you enter the lobby…not anywhere else..

Loved the decor in the rooms, bed super comfy. Room has refrigerator and microwave. Nice fan and good AC. Lovely art exhibit in the lobby. Nice outdoor seating areas and pool with outdoor bar. Great location!

There is a really good restaurant and bar on the first floor of this grand old hotel. If that wasn't enough, there is a small bakery as well, and an outdoor bar by the pool.
