I pre checked in never got a confrontation text when my room was ready. Had to get back in line during the busiest time of the day to get my room.

Way too expensive, nickel and dime you for everything, rooms need some renovation, had a room reservation but the garage was full so I had to park off property even though I was paying to stay there but not enough room to park(doesn’t seem right out makes sense) , I was told I could leave a day early since I didn’t pay third party for reservation but paid Hilton when I arrived, but found out Hilton was going to still charge me for the extra night they just made it look like I paid twice the amount for the one night(ridiculous)

Great location, beautiful entrance, nice history , 2 bathrooms in the room

The room was very basic for a very expensive per-night rate. The historical architecture is a boon and a bane with undersized windows and views from our mid-floor corner room (requested a high floor).

Old Chicago classic with sweeping and stunning interior spaces. The architecture and historically significant spaces are the centerpiece of this Chicago gem.

The air conditioning didn’t work as well as I was hoping. I tend to run hot so even with the a/c as low as it would go, it was still a little warm in the room.

It was in a nice spot with a bunch of places to eat and see in a short walk/drive.

Charging $80+ per night for car parking is absurd. This could be the usual car parking cost, but charging the same from in house guests is absurd.

Staff was friendly but not actually helpful. At check in I was asked if I wanted daily maid service and I said yes. However, I had to ask for maid service almost everyday in order to get fresh towels and new supplies. Also, the bed was lumpy and it was hard on my back for a 9 night stay.

Loved the location. convenient to public transit and walkable distance to museums and shopping.

In comparison to our small Hotel in New York that was in top class neighborhood they had better and more luxurious linen and roomservice that the Hilton. It didnt bother me when we stayed at The Hilton but after our NY visit I just though it should be the other way around as you would expect this as The Hilton. Over the weekend nobody refilled the coffee station and we waited an hour for coffee when I went to reception to ask. After three days I asked for new towels .... that was Monday and then it was like "O yes somebody is booked in room, deliver a service". We booked through Bookings.com for 6 nights but our flight got cancelled and we missed our first night. Tired after flying 18 hours and a day on the airport without luggage hoping to be treated as "grand" as Hotel seemed, they said they cancelled our booking as a "no show" WHAT!!!! we paid for that room if we where there or not. Then the unsimpathetic lady just said sorry we must pay again and now we MUST subscribe as Premium Guest to enable her to book us in again. $25 a day extra. Luckily we had the money but were besides ourselves, me crying that whole afternoon (Newark Airport - Liberty Airline terrible customer service and now this!!!!) A Manager was only available the next day and luckily they saw they did receive our payment from Bookings and refunded the second payment AFTER we left (so that was stressful also not knowing will it actually be paid back) BUT not the Premium membership. Can Hotels please stop putting the soapbottels so high againts the wall. when you want to bath you must wet yourself, stand up, get soap and then down again to bath. Put it up where you can easily reach it when you bath aswell as shower.

Room size was great. Beautiful lobby. Not too for from The Bean and opposite the Parks . Good locations

I did NOT like the price of the hotel room for a single night. $400 should not be the price for one night, unless it's looking straight out to the lake and/or is a suite.

The room was very spacious, and the pool and hot tubs were very nice. The hotel itself was very clean and the location was excellent.

The smell of chlorine in the bathroom, though we think this is very common to use in the US, it would be great if it could be changed to some more natural cleaning agents, eg the Swedish Grönsåpa or Ajax.

The beds were very comfortable. Very nice with view towards lake Michigan where we could view the beautiful sunrise.
