Beautifully done, spacious apartment. Very well kept with all the conveniences we needed. Excellent location for walking the scenic neighborhood. Hosts made us feel welcome and were helpful during our arrival and departure. Would definitely stay here in the future!

There was some communication issues through the app so we had to call the host sto arrange to arrive later but they were very accommodating.

A lot of Steep and narrow stairs up to the third floor and unable to lock the door to the apartment for security/privacy. No TV in bedroom. No safe to lock up valuables

Location was close to downtown close to the harbor. You can see the harbor from the bedroom., plenty of space, clean, very friendly hosts and they helped carry your luggage up to the third floor. The hosts also offered to drive us to the beach to save the cost of parking reservations.

This house is in an old neighborhood. It has the typical "old house problems." These "problems" are very minute part of the charm of the house-things like pulling the door tight behind you. There isn't anything I would change about it because it is a typical, beautiful old coastal New England home!

Amazing location, very walkable to Main Street and the boulevard. Unit has A/C and is a clean and cute place! I would gladly stay there again. This is a lovely home in the heart of Gloucester.

There was nothing I disliked. All of our families' needs we're met!

For our family, our experience at the Guest Suite in their historical home was much more than words could describe. So, I will first start with our "must haves" while away on vacation." Which are comfort, affordability, and the location we stay at. This suite hit all three to a T. The best way to describe this location is to think of "staycation" like when you need that home away from home feeling. The hosts are amazing. They immediately make you feel at home, and the suite itself is very spacious, and the kitchen was perfect size that comfortably cooks and feeds 4-5 people. Everything is within walking distance, i.e., train station, local grocery store, restaurants, and dunkin donuts. It was amazing coming back to that suite each evening after a day full of exploring what Massachusetts has to offer.

Suite is up two flights of narrow stairs. Would prefer separate entrance instead of entering thru hosts’ kitchen though they were always great about it. Shower pressure is a little weak and takes time for temperature to adjust.

Great location! Walking distance to Main Street, Beauport hotel & bayside walk. Charming historical home was updated and clean. Spacious suite with kitchen. Hosts were very gracious and accommodating - they helped get our luggage up and down stairs.

The property was in an excellent location. All shops and restaurants were within walking distance. There are many great restaurants to choose from and have a variety of foods. Also, the apartment was very private and comfortable.

Small details to suggest for the host: A night light in bathroom would be helpful A softer pillow option would have been nice Sugar and creamer in the kitchen would have been helpful. Otherwise a very clean, comfortable, spacious apartment with very helpful host family. Convenient location to the village.

the only thing that was unusual for me compared to other BnB i have stayed in, is that you needed to walk thru the hosts kitchen to get to stairs to your apartment. Even though we never ran into our hosts it made me bit uncomfortable even though they were so nice and welcoming.

We know that they are looking for a solution to this, but the stairs are rather steep, and access now is through the kitchen. That being said, it is not enough to take away from the great apartment that they have put together, offered at a very reasonable price in the center of town.

The location is just superb in terms of easily accessible restaurants and shops. Parking is easy. Apartment is large, modern, and very well equipped. Our hosts were charming, very friendly and well-informed, eager to make our stay the best possible experience for us.

The steps are exceptionally steep and narrow. We knew this ahead of time so don’t fault the owners, but as others have mentioned, it would be difficult for those with mobility issues. Also, because the owner’s family lives downstairs, there is a certain amount of kid noise in the evenings.

Historic home on a quiet street very close to the harbor, restaurants, coffee shops and an amazing used bookstore. The 3rd floor apartment was clean and fresh, with views of the rooftops, church steeples and peeks of the harbor. The owner, Saltanat, greeted us warmly and offered to help carry our bags up the very steep steps. The entire apartment was freshly renovated and the bedding, sofa, bathroom and kitchen were all in great condition. We only stayed two nights, but would gladly return.

Everything was absolutely lovely at Saltanat and Peter’s place. Friendly hosts, clean and beautiful guest suite with all the desired amenities including a full kitchen and an air conditioning unit in the bedroom. The location couldn’t have been better, just a couple blocks from Glouster’s downtown shops and restaurants. We felt lucky to have scored this gem!
