A basic, but clean room. Friendly owners who were happy answer questions. Very pet friendly. Also very motorcycle friendly, has a bike wash station for guests to use.

Charming motor Inn with owners that go above and beyond to make your stay excellent. Bonfire and s'mores. Story sharing with guests around the bonfire and homemade cinnamon rolls and coffee in the morning. A must see

That we arrived late and were to tired to enjoy the fire. That we didn't have more nights available to stay longer. Would have loved to been able to tired the area some instead of just driving through.

The welcome and friendliness of the owners. When we arrived, it was like we just arrived at your sister and brothers house not a inn. It was warm and cozy. They had coffee, several flavors of hot tea and hot chocolate. They had a bonfire going and our outlet door light was on to welcome us🥰.

Everything was great - there was nothing we did not like!

This was by far the best motel room we've had! Clean, renovated, the grounds are wonderful with a dog play area, grills, picnic tables,& a fire pit.

Incredibly clean with exceptional hosts! The motel itself is older and shows its age, but the couple who runs it works very hard to make sure you have a wonderful stay. They make homemade cinnamon rolls for guests for breakfasts, host bonfires with s’mores in the evenings when the weather is nice, and they had sweet little fox keychains for our kids as gifts. They’ve owned the motel less than a year and are working on updates. We will be glad to stay again next year on our trip through the mountains.

This was the perfect place for us on our trip down to OBX. We wanted a place around the half way point of our trip. We stayed going down and coming back. Very nice place and would recommend it for anyone needing a nice place to spend the night. Also, the restaurant attached was a nice addition and it was unlike any Mexican restaurant we have been to. The food is made to order and you have time to sit and enjoy your chips and salsa. Jim and Michelle were very friendly and helpful. We will be adding this place to our yearly trip down to N. Carolina.

Everything...... this place couldn't be better. I will stay there every time I am in the area. Trust in this review because it's the only place I have ever gave a perfect score. Need better sheets and more towels!

Easy to reach setting in the mountains off highway. Wonderful innkeepers! I've just edited my review - I must have made a mistake on the cleanliness number - the room was spotless! Also, the lovely innkeepers presented our granddaughter with a small egg containing a dino - she was charmed! (We should have just asked for more towels. After a long day on the road, two per guest is a good number.)
