How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

the A/C was not great which caused us to wake repeatedly in the night from being too hot. The elevators are also insanely slow, like it really does not make sense how slow they are when there are only 5 floors. Multiple times we waited over 5 minutes for the elevator. They also charge an insane amount for parking (which I did not end up paying) but something to be aware of. Hotels in the area are on the expensive end, so this will do it just feels very expensive for what it is. It’s a very basic hotel and from my perspective, you should get a lot more for the price. You’d get the same quality at a holiday inn or similar.
Convenient location for me, close to family and short driving distance to beach. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Pool area was nice and beds are comfortable.

One of the elevators didn't work, so we had to wait a long time going up or down. One of the maintenance workers left a razor blade and other tools on the table in the pool area. After contacting the front desk, no one came out to remove the tools. I also requested a room with the Pool view but it wasn't a good view because of the structure of the building.
The room was clean.

We ate at the restaurant on the property. We were not aware that they closed breakfast at 10. We arrived at 9:45. The hostess was very pleasant and told us that although they shut down at 10, we did not have to worry. However, our waitress was rude and pushed us to eat and leave.
Nice, clean room. Enjoyed in comfort.

Restaurant was too expensive. Elevators were struggling all weekend and only one was working half the time.
All the staff was great. Cookies were a nice touch. Thanks!

$25 per nite for parking - bit steep. Weird bathroom doors which don’t close properly.
Clean, good size room. Hot tub and pool area really nice. Friendly staff. Comfy bed and couldn’t hear any other guests or doors slamming when in room so got restful sleep. Menu didn’t cater for certain dietary requirements (eg no non-pork alternatives offered for breakfast) but when we asked they were really accommodating and cooked turkey alternatives specially. Gave later checkout when requested.

Wonderful property, great location & comfortable rooms. Only complaint would be food quality from room service. Ordered 2X and both were sub par. This place would be perfect if food quality was better

WiFi free but you have to be in honors. I am but I did not like that stipulation and was not willing to go to front desk and have them look it up. It is a stupid stupid stupid policy. WiFi is like hot water. Do I have to be in honors to get hot water?

The couch had rips in it, not enough towels. One of the breakfast servers was rude!
