An Ocean King Room was assigned to me. 1 king bed + sofa. We were 3. Sofa was uncomfortable and I think it could be improved.

The owner was very understanding of our travel situation. The owner was extremely caring. He made an unexpected, but lovely, upgrade to our accommodations. He turned my frown upside down the rest of our trip! I still stop to smile when things aren't going as planned all because of his kindness. We will definitely stay there again.

30 years ago, this was a premier motel on the island. It's definitely showing its age, which is no one's fault. It's a combination of the salty air and water and the exuberant amount it takes to maintain such a place. It's a great place for families with kids, though. There was a lot of joy and laughter coming from the two pools. It just changed ownership, and it was obvious that the staff and family were working very hard to make everyone's stay enjoyable. It will be fun to see how the place evolves in a few years. I hope the new owners will revive some of the former glory.

The rooms were quite large and clean. Very basic and good for a larger family. The ocean view was spectacular! We were on the top floor and you could see for miles! The staff was friendly and attentive. And it's in a great location! Close to everything!

I liked staff, location, price (ocean and aquapark were near by). Cap May is in 20min from here - we went there and come back. Everything was very nice. I can recommend this place. Good pkace for great price! ;-)

We unfolded the sofa bed to set it up for my son to sleep on and found blood on the folded sheets that were to be used for his bed and found food on the mattress (from the couch) that was not from us. I was grossed out.

The staff was super friendly and we were even upgraded to an ocean view upon arrival!

Brother in law said he saw a bug under the sink in the kitchenette in his room, which made me have a lot of anxiety, but I never seen anything in our room. I was just extra cautious with our bags and leaving things out.

Sands Motel is in a perfect location right on the beach and at the start of the Wildwood Boards. The staff was so pleasant and extremely helpful. The owner (Joe) made sure we had a replacement refrigerator the moment we told him ours was not getting cold. Umberto was fantastic helping us with anything and giving us great restaurant recommendations. Kenny always had a smile and answered our questions. The room was clean and a great size- lots of room, comfortable beds, even a partial ocean view. The kitchenette had just what we needed and the bathroom had nice toiletries. We have been visiting Wildwood for more than 30 years and this is the best place we have ever stayed.

No Air taxi from boardwalk to the shoreline, folks spoke of water at the end of Wildwoods massive desert like Beach but think it was just a rumor...ok I'm kidding can't really think of anything pertaining to our room not to Like, go back and read my essay on what I liked!!!.. I don't like apps that ask too many questions!!! Like this one!! Lol

The value, the friendly atmosphere created by the staff. I can't say enough on how satisfied I was with this Motel. Both pools were excellent, our room location was perfect. And I know I requested certain criteria for our room, because of it being myself (Dad) and my 2 daughters and a friend, I needed a room with 2+ beds, privacy for me and the girls, well this facility provided that, my daughters had a bedroom for their privacy and I had the living room area with the pullout sofa bed, like I said perfect, and the price was extremely fair, especially for all that you get back, from the front desk to the cleaning staff, this place was top notch and I know from now on when I stay in the Wildwoods, I'll be staying at The Sands!!
