Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThere was no continental breakfast. There is only 1 elevator. When towels were brought some had dingy stains or make up like stains on them. Some of the linen had stains on them as well. Housekeeping got rude because I put my dirty towels and linen in her dirty bin.
The property was nice. It has a lounge area if you need to sit and wait for check in or a uber ride etc. Most of the staff were great. Whatever you ask, they were able to do.

Czech RepublicA/C worked well, but very noisy. There is almost no equipment in the kitchen. The view from the room and balcony was zero - directly to the wall of next house.
Big and moreorless clean room with very basic kitchen and fridge and coffee maker, lot of storage space. Good and relatively quiet and safe location. Daily cleaning and towels change. I would choose the same hotel next time, it was very ok.

United StatesThey are feeling some "changing pains" since the recent management change and all new staff at this location. The electronic keys are supposedly VERY sensitive to touching a cell phone or Apple watch, so it was common to see people struggling to get in their rooms. They seemed a little tired of dealing with key issues at the front desk. They ended up giving me a physical key and that never worked! Finally got the keycard to work and kept it working. A guy came to fix the phone in everyone's rooms and knocked even though I had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door and then came in only to find there was no phone in my room anyway. My room wasn't ready for check-in at 3:00 and it seemed a little disorganized at the desk figuring out when one might be ready. My son arrived the day before and was told he had to pay $100 in cash only to check in early for his room, but a room was ready immediately. He only had $75, which they hesitantly accepted instead of $100 and it seemed like a scam to pocket the money. He was so tired he went ahead and did it. Never did get the wifi to even show up on my phone. One woman who works during the day is not as friendly or helpful. Other woman is nice but gets annoyed with the key situation.
Easy and safe walk (at least in the daytime) from and to the subway. Easy walk to places for brunch and dinner. Not a clean area of the city, but it always felt safe even when coming back late at night. Room was a very good size for the city and clean. Good AC. Guy who works the late shift is super nice and helpful. Nice to have a 24-hour reception desk when returning late.

United StatesNo utensils, plates or cups. If you enjoy a morning cup or preparing snacks, suggest bring with you #2 coffee filters, ziplock of your favorite drip brew coffee or tea, a pair of cups, plates and utensils. No food stores nearby until you get to Myrtle Ave a few blocks away. Also bring a bar of soap, shampoo and conditioner as their samples are micro. Minimal on-site facilities (small lounge with out-of-order snack machines, water dispenser and a couch) and rooms have views of…not much.
Attentive and courteous staff. Dated room. Clean bed and bathroom, comfortable bed. Located in quiet neighborhood, but need to go a short walk to get to food, locations and stores. Complete kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, sink, and small 2 cup coffee maker.

United StatesThe facility had some tech/equipment issues throughout the weekend, but it was clear they were trying to resolve them quickly. The bed squeaks a bit, so if you toss and turn be prepared for that. For the price point, I have no real complaints about the room itself.
The lobby is very welcoming (and calming after being out in the city), and there's a lounge and garden area for seating on the first floor. The room had everything we needed and it was nice having a kitchenette. The staff was responsive when we had some issues with the room key and elevator. The location was fine in terms of getting to everything we wanted to see, using a mix of walking, rideshare, and public transportation. (Be prepared to walk a few extra blocks for breakfast on Saturday morning since several of the places closest to the hotel are closed for the Sabbath.) Nice pillows, plenty of outlets including USB charging ports.

GermanyThe rooms are not very well isolated and I could hear my neighbours having "a really good time" in their room for quite some time. The area doesn't offer a lot of variety in night life, or breakfast places.
The Condor Hotel offers you an adequate and comfortable stay. The beds were excellent, and so was the shower, with good water pressure. The staff at both check-in and check-out were very friendly. The nearest subway station is close by enough to get there on foot. I'd definitely consider this hotel again if I have to stay in New York for business of pleasure.

United StatesThe shower could have had more pressure and heat. The shower curtain is very thin. It would have been nice to have more washcloths provided from the start.
The service was fantastic! It met all of our needs. The cleaners did a great job tidying up the room and making the beds while we were gone for the day, and the staff were able to offer us plates when we asked for them.
