The king size bed was structurally ok, but the underside of the bed was falling apart. The wall by the kitchen area had splatters of something on it. The automatic shade in the room did not work.

They didn’t have enough tables for people to sit and eat breakfast so we had to eat in the lobby area on the couches. I’d recommend expanding this area.

The rooms were great, clean and spacious. We had 5 people in the two queen room and it was great. Bathroom was a good size and the shower was nice too. Would for sure stay again! Great location.

When we arrived the sheets were stained and I went and notified the front staff. I was a little surprised she came back and handed me new sheets to make it. Also wall paper in hall and in our room by door was peeling. Hot tub was good the first night (stayed 4) and then wasn’t very warm. It was being fixed the last day so may have been the issue.

Room was decent size even when the couch was pulled out into a bed. The breakfast had a nice variety and the kids loved it. The pool was good.

The wifi is a bit complicated and could be similar. The kitchenette in our suite was not well outfitted with plates, bowls, cups and/or utensils, though the complementary breakfast in the hotel was quite complete and good.

We started our trip to the Bighorns, Yellowstone, Tetons, Bozeman, and Devil's Tower/Black Hills here. It was a wonderful place to base upon arrival at the Rapid City Airport. The pool and hottub were great, and the suite offered plenty of room for our group of 5.

The only thing that could have been better was that the kitchenette had virtually nothing available in terms of kitchen items like plates, glasses, silverware, etc. Given there is only a microwave, I would not anticipate pans, but the bare minimum like plates, bowls and utensils would be helpful. Also, the internet at the hotel requires repeated login with an advertizement. Surely such a hotel can offer free wifi that can be accessed instantly without advertizements or logins.

The staff and manager at this hotel were just amazingly friendly and helpful for us. We needed help with a number of special things (like receiving a credit card, etc.) The staff really went the extra mile and were just awesome. Thank you!!!

Pool was very cloudy. Chlorine smell in pool area was so bad that we had to leave early. Our eyes were burning badly. The pool needed cleaning. Pool area definitely needs more ventilation.

The WiFi had a very weak signal on our floor. And the elevators are slow.

The suite with fold-out couch was a perfect size for our family. The location was fantastic for visiting Badlands and Black Hills.

Breakfast... went down at 8:45 and the place was packed. Only one poor person was working. No hot foot as she was trying to make it. at 9:00 I asked if she could fill the waffle batter. Said she had to make it and didn't now if she would have time. At 9:13 she started cleaning up the waffle station. Breakfast was to go until 9:30 and there was no batter since at least 8:45. The food was limited already at 8:45. We try different hotels on vacations to see which ones we like when it comes to the breakfast and because of this, we will not be staying at a comfort inn again.

The parking lot has no shade at all.

The breakfast was decent, with just a basic continental one. Not as good as the Hyatt Hotel breakfast we mostly used during our road trip.

Building was a little old but well kempt. Noisy families with small kids detracted from the stay but not much the hotel could do about.

Breakfast was very good, sort of like a Hampton Inn suites. Hotel room was clean. Water pressure of shower was nice too.

We picked this due to having airport transportation, however, when we arrived we were told it was discontinued, so they should probably update on website. However, Uber was easy to get. Our only other concern was the weight machine was broken in the fitness area. Otherwise, everything was nice.

Very nice overall. The staff was nice, facility was clean, rooms were comfortable. Good breakfast buffet, Great steakhouse close by. Good location.
