Breakfast limited choice

check in and check out went smoothly

Windows in breakfast room were jammed and could not be shut making it way too cold. Floor looked like it had not been vacuumed recently and there was a build up of gunk on the nightstand. Refrigerator was wobbly and dusting could have been done better. Had to go outside to access the hot tub.

Close to ferry and to shops, restaurants and activities around the area.

On the water

Place is out dated and dirty and falling apart , the pool was dirty, the hot tub was dirty . 90 % of the hotels in Mackinaw city are owned by the same guy so pick your poison on which dump you want to stay in ? I heard the owner doesn't put money into anything because people still show up ... Let me tell you every hotel in Mackinaw City are dumps ....

Boring, location to far from room

More variety for breakfast, no room service requested twice no one came

It is one dirty hotel, did not even want to eat breakfast because it was discusted!

Breakfast was awful … got coffee and ran .

Breakfast . Pool was cloudy . Took $400 deposit then had to pay full price at hotel wait 5/10 days for deposit back .got 3 rooms one didn’t have enough beds like they told me it would still made me pay full price for small room. Wouldn’t give different room. They offered a cot. The room was so small we could not walk. We sure couldn’t put a cot in the room.

Minimalist

Close to the docking of ferries going to Mackinac Island

Dirty room and bathroom, stained and stinky towels, filthy grounds and beach.

It was lake view and close to town.

Lots of webs in corners with some spiders. No outlets by bed. Breakfast was minimal.

The view was amazing

Breakfast was really lack luster even for a hotel breakfast no bagels and only Canadian bacon for a protein. Rooms were pretty worn down and dated you could tell the jacuzzi tub and tub shower had been re-enameled.and just looked dirty. The view from the lake side room was amazing

The hotel beeing on the water

I understand the rooms beeing outdated but it was dirty, spiderwebs everywhere, mildewed old food under the fruniture, smelling musky, nothing was dusted it just was disappointing! Even in the pool area it neeeeeeeds cleaning everywhere!!!

The room had water views.

The pool was gross, the water was very dirty and the hot tub wasnt hot. The other waterparks included were also in poor condition, not working water slides or hot tubs, just very run down and not maintained very well. GHETTO! The Breakfast staff was not firedly, shut the door in my face when there was still 3 minutes left before 9am.

Mackinaw City is always lovely in the summer

The first room that we were assigned to was not accessible to one of the people in our party. She could not climb stairs and the elevator was out of order. We were switched to a room that had an extremely musky odor. I would have left and looked for another hotel but I was just too exhausted to do it. Next morning the breakfast was not accessible to same person in our party because the elevator was still out of order and the breakfast room was on the second floor. At checkout I made the clerk aware and he half heartedly said he was sorry about that. I visit Mackinaw City often but would not even consider staying here again!

Climbing to 2nd floor with luggage Fireworks scared me. Thought building was exploding

Dirty , outdated .

Location was great!

Musty smell in the room, had to kill a cockroach and room was dark and dingy. Had to request batteries to be change out on TV remote.

Good view of the lake. Liked that nearby waterpark passes were included.

Needs bigger parking lot. Pool was nasty. No direct access to beach from balcony, had to go out and around. Breakfast should have been on the lower floor.
