We had free breakfast vouchers, but we were unable to get breakfast. They had only one waitress working and she could not handle the number of people. We stood waiting to be addressed and seated for over 20 minutes. Once seated, we were not given menus or addressed for more than 10 minutes. We couldn’t wait any longer to get menus, so we left before get menus or even a glass of water to drink. We got nothing. My daughter would not have made it to her college at the time slot she had for move in if we didn’t leave. I thought 1.5 hours would be enough time to get breakfast at the hotel. Apparently, not. I chose a more expensive hotel rate so that we could get breakfast and we were unable to use those vouchers. We ended up having to buy a grab and go breakfast from the Station. There was also a father and son in the same situation, who came after us, while we were waiting, and they too left and had to grab food at the Station.

Didn't feel the safest. Entrance D door which was right by our room was malfunctioning i was told. Maintenance taped lock so no key entry was required anyone could enter. Was told it would be fixed & locked by sat night because I told them it was not safe as anyone off street could just walk in. We left Tuesday morning & it was still not fixed it was still taped. When we checked out i made the front desk aware & they didn't say anything or offer an explanation.

No tv station listing, Tub too slippery…pad on the tub floor was too small. Bed was REALLY soft.

We had some issues with water being turned off with little to no notice. The staff was very accommodating and it was u expected all around but unfortunately very inconvenient for our stay. When we first got to the room we noticed that a white cleaning powder was left on the bed.

The balcony door was broken and they didn’t fix it, the shower faucet is extremely poorly designed and difficult to use, the elevator went down but there was no sign and I had to walk through the building for 20 mins with my luggage trying to get out, and the fire alarm went off for more than 30 minutes

Exterior needs some TLC to bring it back to what once was probably a very glamourous facility. Hot tub by pool not working and looked filthy. Bathtub was slow draining (reported to front desk)

There is no desk or table althought the room is big enough to put one. That is quite inconvenient for a multiday stay. The environment is quiet, but the small refrigertor is very loud. the ventilation fan in the bathroom is loud too. I also don't like that the beds are too soft.

The room is spacious, and there are two king size bed. The price is very reasonable for a room of that size.

Buildings could use some updates! The balcony railings are DETERIORATING! The buildings could use a power wash. The hot tub still not available/working. Lunch was subpar at best.

Location was good, beds were CLEAN and comfortable. Front desk girls were great. And the courtyard is beautiful!

As much as we liked the people and the cleanliness of the rooms, the hotel does need some TLC. For example, our patio door would not lock and the outdoor patio could use some repair as it was missing some nails and some of the boards could probably be replaced and repainted. The hot tub was not working and one of the door knobs to get into the pool area was broken off. The gazebo which is such a nice place to sit and look at the courtyard could use some repairs and repainted as well. The property just needs some TLC refresh and it would be a 5/5 for me. I would stay at this location again but would love to see the property revitalized as it once was many years ago when we stayed.

The location of this hotel is near Granville Ohio which is a quaint town with shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean, spacious, and have a small fridge and Keurig. There's also a patio. There's a restaurant at the location and we had breakfast there. The food was great and our server Suzy was very friendly and a welcoming face in the morning! We enjoyed having her! The courtyard has plenty of seating and we enjoyed watching the baby ducks swim and stroll around the property. There's also a fire pit and a gazebo with rocking chairs. The front lobby is very welcoming and the front desk team was friendly. We had stayed at this hotel many years ago for our anniversary and again when they had an indoor water park so we were looking forward to staying once again.

This hotel was even better than the photos depicted online. Spacious reception area opens up onto a small lake with a fountain and gazebo, surrounded on all sides by the octagon shaped hotel for privacy and quiet. The restaurant has great reviews and looks like it would be a nice place to eat but I was up for wedding and didn't get a chance to do so. The bar was excellent and I was able to enjoy a well made drink during my stay. The bartender was perfect with just the right amount of engagement and conversation. My room was much larger than expected with a separate sitting / dining area from the bedroom which had it's own door. The cleanliness was exceptional, trust me, this is probably the most important requirement for me when traveling. Cherry Valley was one of the best I have stayed in. They have earned my business and will by my stay of choice whenever I am in this part of Ohio again.

The facility is attractive and welcoming but fraying at the edges. The hall carpet is iffy in places sound but worn. Some of the beautiful woodwork in the hallways is dinged and the small garden outside my room definitely needed some TLC. It was fairly weedy but still had attractive qualities. The staff is outstanding except for the front desk lady who forgot to give us your breakfast vouchers and then made me hike all the way around the building to the front desk to pick it up. The breakfast staff mAde up for that though.
