The only thing we didn't care for was we took the elevator to our floor along with the luggage cart. Once we got out of the elevator we realized our rooms were down a short flight of stairs and we could not use the cart. It was a little inconvenient, but we managed.

They were able to get us adjoining rooms. We had a great view of the grounds and the water. Our beds were very comfortable and the restaurant had great food. Overall we were very pleased

The rooms need updated. They put incontinent draw pads under the sheet. Lumpy and uncomfortable. Maybe using it as a protector mattress pad?

Location!!!!! Right on beach of Lake Huron. Bon fires at night. Restaurant on site overlooking the lake. Free breakfast. Staff is very friendly and attentive to our needs. Good bang for your buck!!!

Loved everything about our stay

The concierge BEV went above and beyond the scope of her duties. My husband was experiencing some medical issues and her compassion and care for a guest (she did not know) was simply amazing. Her vast knowledge of Mackinac Island allowed my daughter and I to have the best trip and she will not be forgotten. I would definitely recommend staying here, especially with Bev at the helm of the concierge’s desk.

We didn't know about the annual Labor Day bridge walk. We were on the wrong side, so we had to get up earlier than planned to head out and beat the bridge closing on Mackinac Bridge at 0630am-12pm. We wanted to have breakfast, leave around 9am to stop off in Boyne Falls to visit the Skybridge, then head home. It worked out though. We beat holiday traffic and got home early. We joked that we were the only ones heading the wrong way.

This was a beautiful location right on Lake Huron. The beach with fire pits lit nightly with the smoky campfire smell was so relaxing. The Clubhouse for the complimentary breakfast was nice each morning. We were upgraded from our partial lake view to a full lake view and couldn't be happier with our room. We watched the beautiful sunrise. Our room was clean and housekeeping came daily. The beds and pillows were comfy. We enjoyed the ambiance of the electric fireplace too. We had a fridge and microwave. The free shuttle to the dock to catch the ferry to the island was super convenient and took little to no waiting time. We'd definitely stay here again. This resort just made our first time to Mackinaw/Mackinac so incredible with many treasured memories with my girls.

The hot tub was having mechanical issues and not hot two of the three nights. Additionally, the pool area needed some attention to keep the floor clean during the evenings.

The view was amazing. The access to food and drink was convenient and very good. We enjoyed the above average complimentary breakfast and its hours. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Everything about the stay was very good. We would definitely stay again.

The beach bar could have had music in the afternoon. The band didn’t start til 5p and I asked the bartender about music and she shrugged even though I saw a bluetooth speaker on the counter. I just played Pandora on my phone, but the vibe would have been alot better with some beach music.

I thought the free breakfast was ok.

This place was great! So close to the ferries as transport to Mackinac Island. The beds were comfy. We loved the little balcony to our room and waking up to the lake and sunrise each day. I just wish we had a little more time to spend at the hotel, but there is so much to do in the area.

We loved that the property is right on the Lake, has a restaurant, bar and includes breakfast. The concierge was very helpful. It was cheaper to get tickets to the ferry from the concierge and we loved that Shepler’s had a shuttle bus that picked us up at the hotel.
