Check in process was digital and very easy. Room was very clean. Office open 24/7 for any additional items needed (pillows, towels, etc). The Birches provided coupons for free breakfast sandwiches at two local establishments that were within walking distance of the propery.

No fan in the bathroom. Get rid of those plastic chairs. Very uncomfortable. The pillows on the bed were like bricks

Although it was a studio with a sink and refrigerator, there was no dish soap, no dish/paper towel, no dishware, no utensils, & no freezer (so you could at least refreeze the freezer packs you brought with you in your cooler with things such as milk for tea and coffee, a few snacks, etc.) And, the glasses that were there, were just dusty margarita glasses (which complimented the fun vibe but we're basically useless). Also, I did fall through the chair on the deck because they've been there for so many years, sitting out in the elements. The innkeeper put another chair there in its place which was not a deck chair but left the other hammock-like chair there...for somebody else to fall through? Plus, a few other minor housekeeping details. Nonetheless, it's a decent price, a great breakfast, kind innkeeper, so I've reserved already for next year. But, I won't stay in the studio; as it wasn't worth the extra money, nor the trekking up the back stairs w/luggage & essentials. Plus, I now know all the extra essentials I need to bring with me.

I don't love the totally online check in, but when we had a problem with getting a code for our second room, the help line was answered immediately and problem sorted out in about 45 seconds, so all good.

Very appealing room with a simple but fun style, reading lamps and end tables on both sides of the bed, a good shower, nice bedding and a parking space adjacent to the room. Basically everything we love in a motel. We also loved the coupon for breakfast at two places just off the property -- a very clever and appreciated idea.

After many attempts, the door code would not work. Staff had to give us a master code to use. Room needed maintenance. Bathroom was clean but some items were broken.

Our first morning there was not enough hot water for our showers, and our showers were not hot. (Our second morning we were up earlier and thankfully had hot showers.) Was disappointed that we only received 4 breakfast vouchers for two nights, even though there were three of us in the room. When I called to inquire about this I was told we only receive 2 per night, regardless of number of people, which doesn't make sense to me. Luckily, Cannone's Deli was super friendly and accepted our 1 remaining voucher for the 3 of us, so that was a plus! Towels could have been larger and a little less dingy. The thermostat appears to be a smart thermostat and was easy to adjust, but our room was VERY cold when we arrived and took several hours to warm up. Would be helpful to have thermostats set to be warmer in anticipation of arrival.

Beds were comfortable, room was clean, love the decor. Grateful for minifridge and kettle. Keyless entry was great and made check-in/check-out a breeze. Fun to have two different breakfasts on our two mornings at both the diner and deli next door.

Room was a little bright when trying to sleep. Sleep mask required. You can also hear some light road traffic. $50 fee for our well-behaved dog for one night seemed a bit steep.

I understand from Covid things have changed. And they send you a link to check in, then a key code to get in to your room. The “lobby/check in” is empty with a rack of extra towels and such. No one is actually there that works at the motel. We were the only ones there, and it felt very uncomfortable. To the fact we left a night earlier.

Close to downtown(shops and restaurants) and to the spa/springs park. 10-15 min drive.

The air condtioner was very loud and was constantly cycling. The freezer door was missing from the freezer compartment and this caused water to drp onto the refrigerator shelf.

The motel itself could use a refresh. There was a small refrigerator in the room, but no ice available anywhere on the property. Bed was a little soft for my liking.

Our room (Studio w Balcony/deck) seemed like it was probably the nicest room in this motel. The location is great, situated 20 mins from SPAC, 11 mins from downtown Saratoga Springs, and 30 mins from Lake George. CVS, Dunkin, Stewarts convenience store, and a few pizza joints and restaurants in the area adds convenience.
