How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

While clean and comfortable, it is showing it's age. Also the pool is not functioning and it could be a great asset!
The staff was exceptionally friendly! The room was clean and comfortable. It has a great 60s, 70s motel on a family vacation vibe in the best way.

The hotel rooms are clean, but the common areas have an unpleasant smell which I could not identify. It made us want to move from the outside to our rooms as quickly as possible. The outside is in need of a good powerwash.
April at the front desk is fantastic. She is helpful, kind and an asset to the property. She was able to give us very useful information. Thank you, April, for your work and time. The hotel is well located and easy to reach.

It's outdated, could be definitely use a facelift and a good carpet cleaning. Air works amazing.
The staff was very delightful and very welcoming.

The coffee was very weak. The donuts were small chocolate and sugar powdered, not a healthy breakfast. Their pool was not open and the temp was very high. The sheet’s corners did not stay on the mattress.
They received a package for me and put it in my room so I had the contents when I returned in the evening. They had raisin bread for breakfast. The people at the front desk were very kind and helpful. The air conditioning worked

The rug in my room was really wearing thin, so that the tack strip at the bathroom door had tacks poking out. Had to watch out not to step on that.
Location was great. A/c worked well. I really appreciate having a fridge in the room!

We used this motel to commute back and forth to the Indy 500. Left too early for breakfast each morning. Facility was clean and quiet!

Property is outdated but we didn’t feel dirty. The place was very clean. The breakfast isn’t normal complimentary breakfast. It was pretty much just cereal and bananas. We were fine with it. There’s a restaurant right down the street.
The front desk ladies were so nice. Location was great. We were there to do Turkey Run state park. Check in and out process was great.

Lighting in the parking lot was almost non existent, and the breakfast wasn’t great

The only problem we had at all and not a big problem but the bathtub dripped steady the whole time.

The hotel is dated but that's ok....heat worked well, room was clean and bed was confortable. My aunt stayed there too but paid a heck of a lot more than I did for the exact same room. That sucks and is unfair. Someone pocketed the extra money and no one is taking blame.
I liked the price....and it was clean. Bed was comfortable.

Hard to get the heater to stay at one temperature. Breakfast was supposed to be included but we only saw cereal and no milk; we didn’t care, we got our own breakfast.

Hotel bathroom fixtures were dated, water didn’t get very hot. Breakfast provided was minimal, not continental but found accommodations for all meals right down the road, try Benjamin’s for food.
Comfortable stay for an affordable price. We appreciated the room being cleaned, and beds changed daily. Room was very clean, fresh towels and bed linens. The bed was made nicely with extra soft blanket and we spread heavy enough to provide substantial warmth.

There is no inside swimming pool and the breakfast selection very poor. Just bananas, cereeo, muffins, bread, butter and Jelly I would expect at least to have bagels and cream cheese, eggs, yogurt

they really need to invest in new beds
friendly staff , very clean , and location was convenient. overall the stay was great . love the pressure of the shower felt like I was getting a massage which helped after sleeping on the horrible bed .
