they wouldn't give me a late checkout even though I'm a best western reward member and were quite rude about this.

in summer they have an outdoor pool. the rooms are large. good free breakfast.

Two queen beds both placed too close to the wall for some one but a small kid to get out of on that side.Beds and pillows were not up to Best Western standards. Sink was cracked. Toilet small and very low. On the plus side was a hand rail in the tub/shower. Had to ask for coffee for the room on two days of our three-day stay. Internet connection was down the entire time and no advance notice. Would have been troublesome had we needed it in the room for work. As it was it was inconvenient for planning our time in Tacoma.

Breakfast was very typically old-time offerings like Cheerios and sugar-sweetened yogurt. Plus all the usual, weird eggs, sausage, breads, bagels and waffles.

The property was very nice, I like staying at them everywhere I go. The room was clean and nice as well. I think the only thing I didn't like was the water pressure for the shower was nil. Other than that was pretty nice.

There was no maid service after our first night. The garbage cans get pretty full by the time we’ve been there 2 nights and we ran out of coffee and cups and glasses.

We like this location. It is quite. Breakfast is good with lots of protein.

There were a lot of empty rooms but there was some one above us who were very loud and seemed like they were stomping back and forth across the floor all night. The TV doesn't show what's on. No guide to see what you want to watch.

We didn't participate in breakfast. We had to travel to Tacoma for a medical procedure early in the morning.

We had to change rooms three times before getting into one that was a good and that was all done my the front desk staff. Want to thank Megan especially she helped us the most with the problems.

It was very pleasant but the floor seemed a bit sticky when walking around. Otherwise everything was good .

Water took forever to get hot in the shower. Toilet moved when you sit down. Maintenance did come and fix it, but for the amount they charge, it could have been better.

There was a big crack in the wall and 2 mouse and bug traps like in the room. One behind night stand and one behind tv stand. Made me a little nervous thinking they have an issue with insects. I took pictures and showed it to the clerk when I checked out. I worked for Best Western for about 20 years, and I’m sure this was not brought up to them to see what was going on. For the price I had to pay and seen this in the room it wasn’t worth it.

Toilet paper holders were falling off (and one actually did) from the wall. We also requested a crib, had it confirmed and didn't get it. I felt for the person at the desk when I checked in as she was super overwhelmed and alone.

The breakfast was pretty good and had variety. The location was great too.

My room had a missing picture frame, the hooks were still there on the wall and the outline of the frame was visible on the wall as if it was painted around before removal. The lamp on the desk didn't work, might not have been plugged in but I couldn't figure that out as the cord was behind the drawers and TV.

The location was superb, right in downtown in a beautiful brick courtyard across the street from Lakewood theatre. The rooms are easily accessible from vehicle. Air conditioning was controllable. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
