The Banyan House is a bit out of my price range, but the reviews sounded so amazing that I decided to shorten my trip so that I could stay here - and I'm glad I made that choice! The glowing reviews are accurate. The grab and go selection was lovely (tasty baked goods!), and having access to all the things needed for the beach made it really simple to go - just a 3-5 minute drive (or a walk in cooler weather). The back is really peaceful with the koi pond and pool. If you are debating if it is worth the price, I would say to go ahead and treat yourself! Make sure to leave yourself time to enjoy all the location has to offer!

Excellent place! The owners are so nice and truly go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. The property is beautiful and centrally located. We stayed in the main house. It was very cozy. I got a chance to peek into the apartments, they're also inviting and offer a bit more space.

Outside: A little waterfall, ample parking, a pool. Inside: Comfortable rooms, kitchen surprises, and a historic common space stocked with sips and nibbles. To borrow: Bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, tools for combing sand for shells or shark teeth. To top it off, Rosie and Odi are such lovely, gracious hosts. I can see why guests return (based on guests we befriended at the pool) and I might turn into a repeat guest myself.

We loved our stay at the Banyan House! The property was lovely and the room was very comfortable. The kitchen had enough condiments for us to cook without needing to buy too much extras. We had a major car issue on drive out and arrived after hours, but Rosie was very accommodating and we were able to get into the room with no issues. The hot tub was surprisingly so good and the pool was perfect. We also loved the beach, not crowded and ample spaces to park. We enjoyed watching the sunsets out there during our stay and it is only a few streets down from the property and there are also walkable green spaces. Lovely stay and we would definitely book here again!

Basically nothing. The stay was very, very comfortable. The breakfast bar was basically available 24 hrs., which meant not having to rush to get something to eat.

The location in North Venice was fine, particularly if you had a car. The rental was more of a B&B located in a residential neighborhood. Just fine, just a little hard for my Waze app to find. The staff left excellent instructions on how to access the property due to my late arrival. Flawless. Free off-street parking was the "cherry" on top.

We were in awe when we first saw Banyan. What a gorgeous building and presentation of history! The Koi Pond is breathtaking! Our room was very comfortable, and being met by Brett as we got out of our car was an extra added bonus. He and Rosie were the ultimate in friendliness and helpfulness.

From the moment we arrived at The Banyan House, we felt incredibly welcomed by the owners. They truly thought of everything to make our stay special—there were bikes, towels, beach chairs, shark tooth hunting gear, and even a washer and dryer for convenience. We originally came to the area for a shark tooth adventure, but my boyfriend completely surprised me by proposing during our trip—and this charming place made the moment even more magical. The Banyan House was the perfect romantic escape. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of wine, and the entire property had such a cozy, inviting feel. Between the pool, hot tub, and pool table, there was never a dull moment. I can’t say enough good things about this stay—it was cute, comfortable, and unforgettable. We will absolutely be back

Access into the hot tub was a bit tricky.

The Attention to detail in the accommodation. Everything has been done to ensure guests have a comfortable stay. They even went out & bought us some semi-skimmed milk which they didnt usually use. Couldn't fault it.

Oh my, what's not to like? They were so friendly and helpful, not to mention the pool, hot tub, pool table, washer dryer, bikes to ride to the beach, beach chairs and more! The history behind the house is fascinating! Only 5 min drive to the beach! The room was amazing, and I felt literally like royalty. ( no, im not just exaggerating). The manager, Odie, and her husband Ozzy were phenomenal! Our car broke down, and we were supposed to leave but the belt broke. Ozzy carried me to two different auto parts stores to get a belt. I didn't have the right tools, so he went to his job site and brought me back what I needed! He was sent by the Lord I believe, and he was amazing! All in all, on a scale of 1-10, id give the Banyan House a 10, and the staff a 100!

Would have liked to have a couple gluten-free options for breakfast, even if it was just Cheerios. Need to mark the step from the kitchen to the front room better. There's a sign on your way into the kitchen, but nothing on your way out of the kitchen. The way the floors blend together, it's easy to miss that step.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and willing to help in any way they could. The unit was lovely and more-than-adequately supplied.

Where do I start? From the moment we saw the Banyan House we were overwhelmed! What a treasure this is! We were given a tour of the premises and found that anything one could possibly want is here. There are bicycles & helmets, sand sifters and other equipment for shark tooth hunting, pool towels, a beautifully heated pool and hot tub, snacks, and our amazing apartment with full kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom and bedroom. We were spoiled by the beauty and grandeur. The bed & bedding was luxurious and so comfortable. The decor is elegant yet welcoming & comfortable. The elegance of the 100 year old immaculate residence is history filled and full of charm and character.

It’s a perfect location to the beach. They have every amenity you can think of for the beach/ shark tooth hunting. The grab and go breakfast is perfect for a quick bite in the morning or a little late night snack.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the beautiful Banyan House Bed and Breakfast. This is a nearly 100 year old mansion fashioned into an 11 unit B&B. Out unit looked out on amazing gardens a waterfall and koi pond. There is a private swimming pool and Jacuzzi, various gardens and sitting areas and rooms for reading, playing pool and relaxing. The owners and hosts, Bret and Rosie were helpful and accommodating. Bret gave us a tour of the home and amenities, showed us around our rental and even provided us with a nice bottle of wine. They have everything you need for free including bicycles, beach chairs, a barbecue, free washer and dryer. They also provide free coffee, cold drinks and juices, free baked goods and fruit and bottled water. The home is located just blocks from the beautiful Venice beach and close to downtown historical Venice Fl. Our room was comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen, big comfortable King size bed, and our own outside patio. we truly enjoyed our stay and will return again soon..

Breakfast. Check in was a little disorganized.

The Banyan house is in a great location. Well maintained. Walkable to town. Was really nice to have beach chairs and bikes available for guests. Always had refreshments and quick bites. Wine in room was very nice. Bed was comfortable. Ate as Cassariano for our Anniversary which is fantastic. Awesome Italian food. For breakfast we went to Blu Island Bistro. An amazing l, fun place to eat. Even though Banyan house said breakfast it was not usually B&B style breakfast. Overall would recommend.
