We stayed twice there. First time, the room was close to the reception and restaurant. But the second time we stayed very far…down the hallway, and we walked a lot to get to the room. So is better to ask in advance to stay close to the reception…

I would have preferred more comfortable mattresses especially considering the room rates. (I know, tourist season…. )

Very clean with a modern yet homey feel. The location is a short walk to the heart of downtown Anchorage and a very short walk to my favorite brewery. The table, in room fridge, coffee maker and snacks in the lounge are nice touches. We also liked the large shower.

Room was located on ground floor near entrance door/stairs so there was some noise.

Clean and comfortable with some cooking facilities. Use of small kitchen/lounge with refreshments, snacks and light breakfast. Nice neighbourhood and very convenient location for downtown and rail depot.

Amazing place. Super cute! We had a huge room with the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom areas. Blackouts!! Very clean. Staff is very helpful and they were there for us in all the way. Also super close to the train station (4-6 min walk)

location was amazing, safe and Mandy went out of the way to ensure our stay was comfortable. Very thoughtful use of space with ample hooks to hang your clothes, stuff etc. fast charging available at the right spots. these are very underrated amenities!

There is no staff onsite but electronic communications are good.

I loved my room. It was super comfortable and I liked the decor. I loved that area of Anchorage, and the fact that the Inn is only 5 minutes walk from the train station and about 1 minute from the Coastal Path walk. I loved that there was some food provided for breakfast. I got there late at night and had to leave very early in the morning so the food was really appreciated.

This was a superb little place. Ideally located to get to the train station (only 300 metres away) and just one block from downtown. Lovely owners. Good basic breakfast included. One of the best places I have stayed in.

Nothing - walls are a bit thin to the hallway so might hear some noise (red eye folks like me) but there's not a lot of rooms. You also cannot set the temperature BUT a fan is provided to help with cooling. It was not uncomfortable <3

Pros: -Spacious, comfortable rooms with large bathroom -Small boutique spot in downtown - a block or two off all the main hotels/Restaurants/shopping etc -Very convenient to 49th State Brewing and the hiking trail along the coast. -Loved the extra amenities like breakfast snacks -Mandy was so accommodating - can't beat the personal touch of a locally owned spot!

For us it was the best choice we had made. Although we were a little sceptical about the in house facilities but the place surprised us with a warm welcome from the staff to owner and it was flawless!

It is ideally placed close to downtown area and yet away from the busy city sounds. It has serene surroundings with green and open skies not marred by concrete buildings as seen in downtown hotels. It has a warm charm of a home away from home. The breakfast has a limited menu but caters to a usual morning breakfast of fresh fruits, milk of choice, eggs , cereal and juices. Also you can pick up anything from the eating area at anytime without restrictions!
