How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Just the smell.
Everything was amazing the owners were really nice and helpful , the cleanliness of the place was really really good although a minor problem was an annoying smell but it disappears once the ac is on, its location being right next to the bus station and a walking distance from the beach. Also there is a market right next to it so that too was really convenient.

Clean rooms, small but have everything you need. There is a large parking lot nearby. One day a week there is a market in this parking lot. Walking distance to the beach is 15 minutes.

The bathroom was dark and there is no space to put our stuff. There was no balcony, the housekeeping kept taking the towels without replacing them which was a bit annoying to go to the reception everyday asking for new ones. There was no phone to call the reception so whenever you need something you need to go down.
The coffee place pekan downstairs. The location was good its just near carefour, many restaurants, Starbucks, and few minutes walk to the beach. The guy in the reception was nice and smiling all the time.

A little bit dusty, most probably the room was cleaned a few days before I've arrived, but it's not a big deal.
The location is nice: beach is near (around 10-15 mins walking), shops and bus-stops are all very close to the hotel. The room was nice and clean.

The road-facing windows don't seem to provide enough of acoustic insulation - the cars were few during the night but you can hear them well.
Very nicely equipped room with good layout and very comfortable bed/facilities. Even considering the downsides mentioned I'd gladly stay again.

Great location. Nice balcony view of mountains. Kind and accommodative staff. Clean and spacious rooms. Staff let us check in early and leave our bags at the hotel after our check out time. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The breakfast is repetitive and very basic, the AC is not that strong.
Stuff was very friendly. A great location, near the beach and a lot of markets and restaurants around. Bus stops going to old city are also nearby.

Cleanliness of room and bathroom, leakage in bathroom, no room service or cleaning. On request just wiped leaked water. Staff confirmed that they were already aware of water leakage but won’t do anything for it because it’s peak season

good hotel in a good location! Downstairs there is a coffee shop, you can go down straight from your room without going outside - what a treat :) the room is small, but inside it is clean and tidy - well done

I didn’t like that almost under the hotel there is a kind of pub with karaoke at night and the levels of noise at night are really loud. Bathroom was ok but when you seat in the toilet you have your feet inside the shower not so comfortable and after shower you need to be careful to not slip.
I loved the location, some shops around and on Tuesdays there are the local market really next to it. The beach is just a short walk, close by I can find buses stops to go and visit the old town.
