How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

We enjoyed our stay and we booked family-suite which really met to our expectations (facilities, cleanliness, comfortability). All type of supermarkets, shopping malls and Metro/buses were in walking distance (1-3 minutes). Staff in hotel are friendly and always ready to help, also service for apartment cleanliness are there to clean rooms on daily basis (they did a good job). Anytime if I get a chance to visit Istanbul I would prefer to come again. Thank you Belle-Maison Hotel&Residence

Everything was soooo beautiful I had a great stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality made my experience even better. The place looked exactly like the pictures, with well-maintained furniture and a very clean environment. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the metro station, making it easy to get around the city. The staff, especially Mr. Jawid, were incredibly helpful and welcoming. We had some issues with our flights and needed to make changes, and they were always accommodating and supportive. Highly recommend this place for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Istanbul!

The furniture was old.
The location is very good exept there was no place to park a car, its on a narrow street. The hotel was very clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room size was adequate for a couple.

Nothing at all
All the staff are very friendly and always helpful . The location is excellent specially for the older people nearby the metro station and the Main Street . The room was very clean and nothing to complain. I will booking my next trip surely in this hotel!

No flexibility in reservation, no one can guarantee his circumstances, that’s why I wish the hotel management looking to the reservation terms and review it.
The property in good location , the staff are fantastic (5 stars staff especially Jawad, Ahamed and kuran ), easy to reach the underground with short walking. I am very great full to each person working in the hotel.

All was great!
We were in this hotel second time, because it is better value for money. There are all to feel comfort - location, silence, space, kitchen. Staff is very polite and empathetic. Thank you!

Nothing, just missed a day of cleaning but when I notify them they respond quickly
First the location is perfect about 4 mins walk to cevahir mall, metro station and has several bakeries around .. the apartment was clean and cozy the staff are really friendly and welcoming dedicated to serve the gusts specially Koray and Cavid

It had a separate kitchen, all facilities in the kitchen. The location is convenient. The metro is a 5 minutes walk and you can get to all directions from there. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby. Friendly staff.

Very friendly staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. Close to shops, if you want to self- cater, and plenty of good restaurants. Very close to the Metro for good public transport options. A great experience all round at Belle Maison Hotel and Residence.

It is perfectly located in terms of transportation. Only walking distance to Cevahir shopping center. Their rooms were very much welcomed by our wishes. In addition, it has become a place where I will always come with its friendly and helpful staff.
