    “The room was perfect and in an excellent location. Any necessity I could think of was available, including bottled water, juice, snacks, hair dryer, etc. The owner of the rooms gave a really helpful itinerary/recommendations if I wanted to use them. There was plenty of free street parking - any questions I had I could contact the owner, and he would reply straight away. The room was also cleaned and restocked every couple of days. I had an excellent experience here as a solo traveller and would highly recommend this accommodation.”

    “Perfect location, just a 3min walk into Matera, and free parking nearby. The owner provided us with a very useful list of restaurants, walking routes and “must see” which was super useful as we only stayed in Matera one night/day.”

    “Great location - walking distance from the city centre. Very clean and comfortable rooms with nice bathrooms. The host is very kind and helpful, we got gift (fruit) from her. The breakfast is also very nice (Italian style, coffee and pastry), however, guests need to walk 5 minutes to the café. There is also a kitchen for shared use with all equipment.”

    “Amazing experience. The location is incredible and the room very comfortable, but the best thing was to learn about Matera from Nicola, whose family used to live in this house before the Sassi were evacuated. We learnt so much about the history and got great recommendations on which places to visit. Breakfast includes their home grown tomatoes and home made oil. It was truly special.”
