    “The property is located in a residential building, just 7–10 minutes from the Sassi area and the historic center. Parking is available on the main street (blue zone, paid) or for free if you are lucky to find a spot in the white-marked areas or on nearby streets. Our host Delia was wonderful – she sent us the self-check-in details via WhatsApp and was always available for any questions. She also prepared a delicious breakfast in the small kitchenette next door. The apartment looked exactly like in the photos, very clean, and equipped with a mini-fridge, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and a hairdryer. We also received a map with the main sights in Matera, which was super helpful for planning our visit. Thank you so much – we would happily return at the first opportunity!”

    “The room was perfect and in an excellent location. Any necessity I could think of was available, including bottled water, juice, snacks, hair dryer, etc. The owner of the rooms gave a really helpful itinerary/recommendations if I wanted to use them. There was plenty of free street parking - any questions I had I could contact the owner, and he would reply straight away. The room was also cleaned and restocked every couple of days. I had an excellent experience here as a solo traveller and would highly recommend this accommodation.”

    “Right in the middle of Matera you have this wonderful cave apartment, that is nice and cool, with a comfy bed and great shower. It’s a great experience to stay in a cave dwelling like this! Michele met us to find a good parking space and walked us to the apartment. In the way, he told us a bit about Matera and the history of Casa Ferri.”
