- From US$125.93 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 583 reviewsBoth my partner and I have stayed at many "luxury" hotels around the world, and we agreed hand on heart that our stay at Mas San Marc was by far the best experience we have ever had. The quality v price is exceptional, the place is wonderful, well located, and the staff could not do enough to make us feel at home. Special thanks to Marta, Bruno and Lilia on reception who really cared for us. Housekeepers and restaurant staff were all very friendly and smiling. Just to note: We did not eat on site, so cannot mention the food in the restaurant. The decoration of the entire place is amazing, and every details has been carefully chosen, including the beautiful scent throughout the hotel. Our dog Luna was also very happy to explore the grounds, happy with the horses, ponies and chickens. One day we got the pleasure of meeting a charming and very helpful gentleman called Kiko, who turns out to be the owner of the hotel: Himself as delightful as the place and his employees., it took us a few days to decide that the best word for the Mas Sant Marc is simply "idyllic". We shall be back, A bot thank you again to all the team there. Celine, Merlyn & Luna.Guest review byCelineJersey

A pretty little town surrounded by the Spanish mountains. Lots of little lanes with shops to explore. A market square with a market on a Sunday. Some nice bars and restaurants and tons of outdoor activity shops, to buy and or hire all manner of equipment.Guest review byStuartUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Bellver de Cerdanya is a beautiful village right at the heart of the Pyrenees! It is definitely a place you should stay and/or visit. For environmental reasons we came from the UK via train and it was perfectly located. 1. London > Paris 2. Paris > Latour De Carol 3. Latour De Carol > Puigcerda 4. Taxi: Puigcerda > Bellver de CerdanyaGuest review byBrettUnited Kingdom - 8.0
La Molina had suffered from a distinct lack of natural snow...
La Molina had suffered from a distinct lack of natural snow when we visited in January but the extensive snowmaking meant that there was plenty of choice and variety, especially if you used the links over to Masella. The town itself is fairly functional, and the night life would appear to be very quiet but that suited us fine. We saw lots of chamois up the mountains and also a foxGuest review byJonathanUnited Kingdom - 10.0
La Molina is a lovely small Alpine resort.
La Molina is a lovely small Alpine resort. Busier at the weekends with Catalan skiers. Lovely family atmosphere, probably not a great Apres Ski scene, but that was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 children (8 & 5)Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Soriguerola is a small grouping of premium holiday homes...
Soriguerola is a small grouping of premium holiday homes surrounded by farms, golf courses and an aerodrome. It's a very quiet location only 3 minute drive from Alp, in the valley of Cerdanya. There's a very picturesque stream running through it and there are snow-peaked mountains in every direction. The mountain of Masella is home to two ski resorts which are great and much more affordable than the French alps.Guest review byNando FarahUnited Kingdom - 8.0

If you like wood fire oven baked breads and pastries, there are several artisan bakeries in the town. Also, if you like looking for otters, there is a hike along the river with lots of information about how to spot them.Guest review byAnonymousSpain - 2.0

On route to this accommodation, one of our party was in a crash, badly hurt, hospitalized and his motorcycle un ridable. We contacted booking.com to cancel this booking, they said they would contact the host. We also sent a message to the host and photo's of the damaged bike. We got nothing back other than an acknowledgment from booking.com of our request to cancel. The next day, booking.com message saying, the host hasn't replied. We messaged the host again, nothing. I checked on booking.com, all messages and the booking, have disappeared. 5 days later we are charged the whole fee and recorded as a NO show. We raised this with booking.com, who said they would contact the host. A week later, we had heard nothing. I raised then this again with booking.com, a week later, still nothing. I'm now out of pocket and both parties remain silent. I'm unhappy with both partiesGuest review byPete RichardUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Climate change is robbing the eastern Pyrenees of their...
Climate change is robbing the eastern Pyrenees of their precipitation so snow machines are the order of the day. The demand on water resources for this is unsustainable. The Catalonians have gone to town with their language so forget your school-learnt Spanish and get deep into Google Translate. It doesn't get a lot of English tourists so not everyone there will be able to speak English. Despite being very close to France they don't speak that language either.Guest review byAnchisesUnited Kingdom - 10.0
It's a small enclave in the middle of the Cerdanya valley.
It's a small enclave in the middle of the Cerdanya valley. It's an unusual mixture of rich holiday properties, golf courses and farm land. Above all it's only a 5 min drive to Alp or Puigcerda, and the Masella and Molina ski resorts. If you like hiking or skiing this is a great place to go. Also... the valley boasts of a pretty large aerodrome, so you can take hot air balloon rides or book a flight on a glider.Guest review byNando FarahUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The lower part of the town is industrial but go higher into the old town. Walk around the lake and look at the lovely buildings and the views over the country. Everyone there is friendly and can speak Castilian Spanish or Catalan or French, do not expect English to be widely spoken. It is an ancient town with an interesting history and very close to France. Be aware that many restaurants close on Wednesday and Thursday and this is not a place to go if you look for late night entertainment. Come to the town for fresh mountain air and reasonable prices and proximity to the mountains and France.Guest review bygerardIreland
