Place has been neglected. Needs a good paint job and some renovations done. The kitchen bench was all split and cracked, patches taken out of it. Carpet was sticky.

The young man is very good with his clients. He really did look after me. Spa tub was great. Bed was so cosy and comfortable, so were the pillows.

The bed was very very firm The bathroom seemed a little outdated. And the linoleum flooring was peeling up in places A few of the appliances in our unit were not working correctly

I didn't like the way the flies and spiders were all around the room and the spider webs all hanging around in room the microwave was broken and as soon my mom entered the bathroom her leg went inside the tile was damaged I will say I had the worst experience ever with karaka tree motel. Plus no heater in the room was so cold.☹️

The rooms were okay the size wise 1bedroom unit was worth the price for the family of 4.

It’s faded and jaded, grubby and minimally equipped.

The bed was clean and comfortable and a good size with an electric blanket. The towels were numerous and large and fluffy. The shower is a generous size.

Room (15) Im sure would have been a very nice room once. Now unfortunately its generally in a poor state of repair and in need of maintenance - disappointing even given the very affordable price.

Television had to be navigated by staff to gain access; jug had to be requested as not in unit and then dirty inside when obtained; left hand door of wardrobe in back bedroom off the hinges; crack in floor of shower cabinet.

No milk, a tiny bit of toilet paper, no soaps, shampoo, 5 drops of dishwash, very shabby decor. Nowhere to sit in TV room except bed. Overall very disappointed.

Crammed kitchen bench, no room on bench for frypan, no electric kettle. Poor shower due to poor pressure. Shortage of cutlery, no sofas. Bathroom unfinished renovation attempt. Insufficient bedding, Only very light duvet available.

No milk provided for cup of tea so purchased some and the fridge was so ancient, it froze the milk. Noise from rooms above was bad. no handtowel or flannels in bathroom.

Beds were comfy with electric blankets and shower pressure was good.

Ok the booking it said spa pool which does not have one The room we had looked like a quick fix or patch up has been done rotten wood around the sink in the kitchen bathroom not recommended

There is rubbish everywhere - all in the unkempt gardens and lawns. The spouting leaks, and pours out over the steps where you have to walk. The dishes weren't clean, like coffee stuck to the inside, and I had to wash everything before we could use it. There was no dishcloth to wipe bench and tables. No face cloths or hand towels either. The fridge was very iced up and needed a full defrost. While it is dated and reflected in the price, the neglect and unkemptness is unnecessary.

Inclusive of pets, my little dog enjoyed being able to accompany us. The beds were comfortable with clean linen and some towels.

No remote TV .TV no signal .wifi not strong signal. Expensive if you have pet stay should show price for pet . Some room can't use full facilities. Because I book for 5 room. Reception should tell me anything not available before check-in.

There where molds in the bathroom. Jacuzzi was not working. Need to ask for everything to room service from clean towel to toilet paper. Rooms where not ready at the time of arrival.

The hot pool wasn't able to be used - had a big hard wooden cover over it and couldn't be removed. This was one of the reasons we went to the Karaka Tree. The tv had no sky and the highest setting on the volume was so low we had to have subtitles on so we could read what was happening as couldn't hear it properly. The room was not warm - there were two little electric heaters to warm the place. In the morning all our food and milk, yoghurt had frozen in the fridge over night. This Motel is classed as a 4 start motel - there is no way it is 4 star. It use to be many years ago when we have stayed there but not now. 3 star at the most.
