This is a wonderful homestay. Guests are welcome with tea and homemade cookies. My room was spacious, with a beautiful view. The shower was warm with good water flow. But the true treasures of the place are the owners, who are incredibly welcoming and warm.

It’s a comfortable well-equiped gesthouse ran by the kindest family. The room was spacious with a good view and a nice toilet. Breakfast was great too. Would definitely go back!

Truly amazing host who helped us a lot, was extremely nice and accommodating and hospitable. We really felt welcomed. The house itself is beautiful and quiet, the rooms are big and truly beautiful with a little balcony with a view over the garden. It feels relaxing to be there. I wished we could have stayed longer!

I don’t normally write reviews, but this place was exceptionally good. The price is great, the staff was very nice and accommodating, the beds and rooms were fantastic. Really everything you need. It’s a bit far from town, but the views make up for it.

We were the only ones with a car to park, limited space could be a problem with more cars !!.

We had just one night at Maison d' hotel Ghalil. After a big car tour of southern Morocco, this hotel was just what we needed. Friendly staff, a hot shower and comfy beds. The meals and breakfast were also top notch.

The property was very quiet, clean and comfortable. It was located on the edge of the palmeraie near the center of Ouarzazate. We were picked up at the airport and driven back. Moustafa organised 2 excursions for us at short notice and even got me a charger for my phone. We ate every day at the Maison D’hôtes and the food was very good. The beds were very comfortable. The hosts were lovely and I had the best customer service I experienced in years.

We loved our stay here! This was a short stopover for us but we are glad that we found this place. Staying here felt homey and very comfortable. The owner is a very kind and generous host. We enjoyed conversation with him and his nephew over mint tea. Couscous dinner and Moroccan breakfast were hearty and filling. The house and the room were large and nicely decorated, with an excellent view of the palm trees below. We would definitely recommend to all!

If you want to have the most amazing experience, then please listen further... Hamid and Mustapha were the most honest, caring and reliable hosts we've ever had in any country we've travelled to. They showed us the same love that you'd show a family member! Anything we desired, whether it was a list to the city, a lift from the airport to the hotel, or a lift to the bus station which took us to marrakech, they made us felt very well looked after! They are very humble and modest. They have the most beautiful roof terrace you could ever imagine, leaving with views of the atlas mountains, Sahara desert and distant rural villages. They also prepared traditional dinner for us and gave us what we wanted for breakfast with a moroccan twist. It was the perfect first day to our week long trip, and after a week in Morocco, although we met many more friendly and great people, no one made us feel as welcomed as these guys did.

The only suggestion I have would be little shower gel/shampoo bottles in the bathroom but that is really minor. Beds and Pillows were pretty hard but that’s very common all over marocco 🫣

Wow! This place is honestly a real gem.. it is not really well represented on booking or google maps either but it’s so great. The view from the rooftop is breathtaking. We arrived in the evening and were greeted with fresh tea, the most delicious dates and homemade cookies. They showed us around the house and we got to see the most beautiful sunset with the prettiest colors. As we were the only guests we got to choose our room by ourself. The room is also better looking than in the photos. It’s nice and spacious and clean and with a pretty view also. The shower was hot and had enough pressure. In the evening we got a delicious 3 course meal prepared to our wishes. Breakfast was delicious and very rich with a wide selection of baked goods, delicious honey, jam, coffee, tea and juice. When we had trouble getting out car out of the small driveway the owner was ver helpful. I really recommend this place. It’s so lovely. Like coming into a family home.
