Our hosts Donatella and Francesco were very attentive. The apartment was well stocked with our needs plus more. Our hostess took us to a wonderful dinner location and returned us and also provided ride to train. She went above and beyond and was always responsive to any questions we had. Really nice place with a balcony. The apartment was perfectly clean and well-equipped. Our flight arrived late at night at Catania Airport, but we had no problems with check-in after midnight, which we truly appreciated (thank you once again!). Truly amazing thing about this apartment was the food – when we arrived, there were plenty of groceries in the kitchen, including bread, cheese, eggs, and milk. We really loved that idea, especially when you're arriving in the middle of the night without any food. The owners were very helpful – they recommended what to do and see (also with a child as we were travelling with a 5-years old son) in Syracuse, and where to eat nearby. Overall, we had the feeling that this is a place the owners truly care about. We traveled by car and had no trouble finding a parking spot on the street.

Donatella and Francesco welcomed us and showed us the appartment. Everything was considered. Like we were living here. We got a bottle of prosecco and the fridge was full with all we needed. Donatella offered us help for everything and was available all day. The appartment was very beautiful and clean.

Donatella and François were there to welcome us and lead us through the amenities of the apartment; they helped with luggage and also had a parking spot reserved for us upon arrival. They were absolutely lovely and the apartment had all we need with a lot of food and beverages for breakfast, this was a really nice surprise and very much appreciated. On top of it Donatella accepted to have us wash some clothes in the other apartment she has and gave us plenty of good information about Ortigia and Syracuse. We loved our stay and would return.

Donatella and Francesco were fantastic hosts! They apartment was charming and in great locations. They provided us with two bottles of prosecco and full kitchen of food and snacks! They recommended us a great local restaurant for a dinner. We will visit them next time when we are in Sicily.

The apartment is next to some busy roads but due to the blinds the traffic did not bother us at all.

- The hosts are absolutely amazing. They gave us some fun recommendations on what to do. - The apartment is very clean and stylish. It has everything it needs to every little detail. The pictures honestly dont do it justice. Way beyond our expectations. - Great kitchen. It rained after our first night in the morning so it was nice being able to use the food they had stocked the fridge with for some breakfast. - Provided thoughtful gift at our arrival. We honestly wished we had booked this for a couple more extra days because it was so perfect for us!

Details, details, details. Donatella and Francesco are fantastic hosts, their apartment is a piece of home, they think of everything and give you a very warm welcome. The apartment is spacious and nicely furnished, the fridge was full of food for breakfast and dinner, we didn't miss anything. The only thing I can mention is that it can be a little noisy from outside. The traffic is quite intense and the noise isolation could be a little improved.

The apartment is very spacious and clean. You have everything you need, you can feel like home. The location is great, within walking distance from Ortigia, the train station, supermarkets, bus stops, you literally have everything you need. The building has an elevator, which is a plus if you have luggage. The fridge was full of goodies, you could cook a whole meal, not just breakfast. Donatella is an amazing host. She is very nice, always checking on you to see if you need anything, giving suggestions about places to eat/visit, she even drove us to the bust station when we left. We really felt like home and we would gladly come back here.

The apartment was spacious and well-equipped. There was a well-stocked kitchen and fridge with a range of delicious food. Francesco and Donettella were so welcoming and hospitable and were always available to offer suggestions for day trips and restaurants. There was always easy parking on the street.

There was nothing we did not like.

The house was just like the pictures and was perfect for my family. The beds were comfortable and the house was very welcoming as were the hosts Donatella and Francesco. They made us feel right at home. They left us with a refrigerator and pantry full of food. We had everything we needed. There even is a washing machine to do your laundry. Francesco recommended a restaurant to us and made us reservations and it turned out to be amazing. La 7 Speize. Best pasta I ate in Sicily. We were also able to find free parking on the street. We definitely want to stay here again when we come back to Siracusa. This apartment is wonderful, as are the hosts.

The area around the apartment is a little rundown and there aren't a lot of places to eat nearby. It is also close to the main hospital and ambulances with sirens are quite frequent.

The hosts, Donatella and Francesco were superb. They met us at the apartment and showed us a fully stocked fridge and shelves full of food for our stay. They gave us a lift to the bus station at the end, and during the stay, offered advice on things to see and places to eat. The location is good, as it is about halfway between Ortigia and the main archaeological sites.

Everything was outstanding. Donatella was an incredible host in a beautiful, large, and well located apartment. Free parking on the street, and all the food (and more) you need during your stay. Highly recommended.

First of all I want to thank the owner Donatella who contacted me before our arrival and met personally at the apartment. The fridge was full of food for breakfast and not only the sweet Italian breakfast but cheese, eggs, ham etc. + fruits + welcome champagne ! She was available at any time with support - booking a restaurant table or a taxi on Christmas day when it turned out public transport was ''on vacation''. The location was central, easy to walk around the town and reach Ortigia on foot. It was the best place to stay during our trip to Sicily! Thank you ,Donatella and your family ! There is traffic noise, but not enough to keep us awake, and in the end Sicily went to sleep. The area looks somewhat crumbling, but surprise little shops, bars and spruced up start-ups appear amongst the old buildings and apartments.

We stayed for 9 days early September. Plenty of room for a couple, a kitchen, lounge/dining, bathroom, entrance hallway and two balconies. It is on the second floor, with a lift, with another security key provided for entrance to apartments. Our hosts Donatella and Francesco could not be faulted, so kind, helpful at any time, and generously stocked the kitchen and fridge- quite amazing hospitality. While Donatella struggles with English, she has French and Spanish as well as Italian, but Google translate and Francesco’ s English is quite enough to communicate. The bed and furniture were very comfortable, and heaps of towels and toiletries, tissues etc. Everything you need to cook with, and a front loading washing machine. We had a hire car, and generally parking doable, and while a little tricky at times we always found something free outside or near. Location was good for us, close to the museum, catacombs, Basilica, and Santa Lucia church with a stunning Caravaggio. Close to a small Deco supermarket, and a great chicken takeaway is across the road. For the fit Ortigia is walkable, though we found parking. Would easily stay again.
