I stayed in Room 207. Next door there is the centralised vacuum cleaner machine....very noisy between 9 am to 2 pm. Stay away from this and get a room as far away as possible.

There’s not much not too like. Parking is a hassle at night in August but that’s a general issue in Siracusa

Breakfast is a big spread....but somehow I expect more carefully curated and tastier/ fresher items. It was good but definitely can be improved. Rooms were very comfortable.

Staff was great. Rooms very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Beautiful welcoming lobby. Location couldn’t be better. Breakfast had every food you could imagine you would want. Additional public room next to reception to relax like your own living room. Great place to stay.

Leaky shower

The room was a really good size. Everything lovely and v comfortable bed. The shower did leak, though, so make sure not to leave anything on the floor - and you will likely use up some spare towels mopping it up! Breakfast was fine

When you arrive it seems an apartment because the hotel is located in the 4th floor of an apartment. The breakfast is good but very simple.

I suppose I understand now that this may be common, but this is effectively a bed and breakfast. I would not title it a 'hotel'. There is no other facilities, no bar, brollies out the front never open and nobody is invited to sit down there. There is no lunch or dinner services, no all day coffee etc. There is a plenty in the town so I suppose it does not matter though. It's just not what I would call a 'hotel'. At night when you return, someone unlocks the door and you can go to your room. It's also looking a bit tired, the first thing you see on entering is cracked paint and broken kick lighting on the staircase. It needs some love and attention but overall its still quite good and well located with good staff.

The rooms are spacious, high ceilings, lovely bed, good air con. Lovely small balcony. The breakfast is very good and the little courtyard setting is idyllic for breakfast. There is always someone at reception too. I did see a review saying coffee wasn't great but we loved it. The choice at the breakfast buffet will suit all. We had teenagers with us too. The staff are lovely though, a real family feel to the stay. There are lovely little swimming spots around Syracuse and we tried all of them! The town is truly beautiful.

We did have a problem with a leaking shower. However we were offered another room, but were so happy with our room, decided to stay and the staff immediately sent maintenance to deal with it. There is no hotel parking so street parking can require patience.

The location was perfect - 10 minute walk into Ortigia, cafes and restaurants on our doorstep. Charming helpful staff, lovely spacious room. The best gratis granita! We didn’t want to leave.

Hotel is in the restaurant and bar area of Siracusa, and on one of the bigger roads to the Ortigia area, which are lively on Fri and Sat nights: corner rooms can therefore be a bit noisy at those times.

Lovely hotel halfway between Siracusa Station and Ortigia Island, less than ten minutes walk from both. Staff friendly and helpful, rooms big (we were upgraded) and airy, bathrooms excellent. Breakfast superb, in a spacious undercroft.
