The people staying at the hotel (noisy), but the hotel doesn’t have control over that, of course. It was noisy during the night and early morning.

Great location, beautiful views, comfortable room, parking nearby.

Up a steep hill, breakfast wasn’t very fresh, coffee was awful. Also an older age crowd so not that great for younger couples.

Good location, gave us an upgrade for our honeymoon with a bottle of prosseco which was a nice touch. Room was cleaned every day with fresh towels. Happy hour is also great !

Some parts of the hotel need some updating and modernising. The restaurant was not too good for dinner, rock hard bread, small portion for fish. The a la Norma I had was average compared to some of the restaurants in the town - breakfast was great though.

We were very happy with the young man on reception, sorry I can't remember the name. But we were not happy with first room as some bits were broken. He was so helpful to us and helped to change the room for us with no extra charge. Even gave us a bottle of processco to apologise. Good wifi, air con, nice pool, great location a short walk from the main town and restaurants. Great breakfast also

Mini bar was not restocked each night. Terrace area - service was slow

Pool area is lovely. Pool is very deep but the hotel provide noodle floats that allow everyone to enjoy the pool regardless of your abilities. Breakfast is fantastic, so much choice. Staff are wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. Entertainment in the evenings is nice, pianist each night and one event night. Rooms were comfortable. Hotel is well located and it takes about 10 - 15 minutes to walk into the centre of Taormina. Slight incline getting into town and decline coming back.

The hotel is a bit outdated, which was something I already knew since I read it in other reviews. Despite being it outdated, the hotel is still very nice and I would really recommend staying here!

This is a great hotel if you want to stay in Taormina, but not right in the city centre. The hotel has a lovely pool with a towel service and a lot of sunbeds. We visited this hotel in de middle of summer and we never had an issue with finding a spot. There is also a pool bar. We had a room with sea view, which was amazing. The room also included a balcony, which was also a big bonus. The room itself was also nice, just a little bit outdated. Apart from that, the room was spacious and clean, with a nice bathroom. The breakfast is also very good, with lots of variety. I had difficulty making a decision every morning, since there was so much choice! The staff is also really kind and make you feel very welcome. Even though the hotel is not right in the centre of Taormina, everything is still very close by. We had no trouble walking anywhere. We also really enjoyed the fact that the hotel is located in a more quiet area, since the city centre of Taormina can get very busy.

The bus station is conveniently located and easy to use for getting around to other locations in the area.

Even though it was close to the centre, getting to the hotel on foot required a very exhausting uphill walk. The facilities felt a bit dated, and the staff at the pool bar could have been friendlier.

We really enjoyed the location, the friendly staff, and how clean the room was every day.

Hotel was lovely! Rooms were a good size and cleaned daily - the maids would ask if you’d like the room cleaned or not so we had the option to say no if we felt it wasn’t needed. The shower was good, some toiletries also provided. Our room had a shared ‘balcony’, it was more of a terrace, no view, but it was an area to sit outside and dry our pool/beach stuff. The buffet breakfast was great, lots of options of the usual food, staff were constantly filling up the stations and cleaning tables. Lovely area to sit outside in the evening for happy hour before going out for food, we didn’t eat dinner at the hotel so can’t comment on that, but the menu did look good! They also had evening entertainment - nothing cheesy/cringy like you sometimes get, just someone playing the piano and singing - this was nice! There was other entertainment on other evenings e.g a Sicilian night, but we were not at the hotel for this. Pool area was lovely, not a huge space but there are just about enough sun loungers, around it or on the terraces above. They provide towels for the pool which was nice. Hotel is in a good location, right by the central bus station which is really handy and less than 10minute walk into Taormina town with all the restaurants and shops, and 5 mins from the cable car which takes you down to the beach. There are steps, which we did take on a couple of occasions, but be warned it’s a long way and hard work!

Driving into Taormina was difficult and the exact location to park the car was not clear when first arriving. You must enter in via the terminal bus parking area as the maps, takes you to a different location where it is impossible to park. Better communication on this would have been helpful as an Australian tourist driving in Italy.

The location to the Main Street in Taormina was only a short walk. The breakfast was amazing! We had an upgrade to a sea view room and it was large and spacious with a balcony.

We didn’t get a proper double bed - it was two singles shoved together- and the bathrooms could do with an upgrade for a 4 star hotel. We asked for a wake up call on our last morning which was omitted by the staff. The pool is a bit crowded in mid summer- and after 6 it’s closed due to the dining outside

We liked the Italian family feel. Although some say the decor looks a bit dated- we thought it was part of its charm. We liked the blue light decor of the rooms. The staff are generally friendly and helpful- the breakfast is great and it’s close to the city centre and amenities.

There wasn’t really anything but due to the location of the hotel has multi levels so it’s good to be aware that there are lifts/elevators that make it accessible .

This is a pretty hotel in a stunning location with a real taste of Sicily. The staff were very welcoming & helpful. It has a beautiful pool and plenty of outdoor areas to sit. The breakfast buffet had many options, the pastries, breads, fruits were fresh everyday & delicious .

The property is dated and shows signs of stains in the rooms, dirty hallways and well-used items. Although it is ADA accessible the only way to get up to the hotel is a very steep driveway from the bus station. We had to push our father up the steep driveway and then help on the way down so he didn’t go too fast and fall over in his scooter.

The location of the property is really great. It’s central to all the main areas and the cable car to get down to Mazzaro beach. This is one of the only ADA accessible hotels which we needed and we were happy for that. The staff is very kind and helpful. The breakfast is abundant and has so many options, it’s probably the biggest hotel breakfast buffet I’ve ever had.

The decor. The breakfast was terrible.

Location and general layout of the hotel is excellent. However the hotel and rooms feel very tired and dated, it's in desperate need of a renovation. This could easily become a 5 star hotel if given a makeover, but then would become less affordable. If you accept the tired decor, then this is well worth the stay. Would recommend a sea facing room, views were amazing.

As I had booked this hotel quite a while ago, I expected to be in the hotel but was allocated a room in Palazzo Santa Caterina. The room was nice but we would have preferred to be in hotel. We were surprised that the swimming pool was so deep with no shallower end. I am not a strong swimmer and didnt really like to be out of my depth however there were swimming noodles I could use. The ladder into the pool needs to be secured as there was quite alot of movement when using which to a non swimmer is alarming. .

Breakfast was excellent. Menu of the day was changed each day and consisted of 4 courses for E35 and was good value.
